hello Ratel..no, my target remains 12000-12050 however there could be upside potential over and above if your view is a longer term hold.  keep positions smaller and rather increase diversity(not to much-it becomes a full time logistical juggle ) across a range of counters to offset any sudden pullback brought on either by a global or domestic pullback.

looking at 17000 fro SHP...

i'm adopting a staggered strategy in this trade should price sell down.  its certainly not what i'm hoping for but safer to make contingency.  very difficult seeing a clear trade path and to some extent perhaps a little preemptive on my part considering results are still being mulled by market participants. (168-171)has to hold/stabilize..wed will be telling.

MDC - has had a phenomenal run - both from normalised earnings exceeding expectations and since the unpegging of swiss frank relative to Euro, almost a 22% rise.  Despite this run, I really do like the fundamentals on this company.  (Great profit margins in excess of 45%, with sales growth continuing (through organic growth) and operational cost cutting being reviewed).......I only see upside continuing.

 

Charts - from the daily, I see a good entry price at R115 level (preferable) or R119.  Lets see if we get another weekly candle lower (High was R130, although it closed at R128 for the week, then 2nd week R122 and this week???)
