Sephaku...

Analyse This ran an excellent insert on this company
New and better technology meaning costs will be slashed once production starts... Dangote is the driving force... Share price has run without much happening on the ground...

PE is -184 (did I see that correctly??!!)

EPS: 2015 - 90c a share
2016 - 150c a share

Two things concern me:
1. Reaction of the likes of PPC (price wars, etc)
2. Hasn't share price run too hard? (Although little has happened over last six months)

Is this one for the kids high school education? LTP stuff?
It does one stay away?
Anyone got money in it?

Hey Sugafoot,

I am bullish on SEP.  The story is de-risking with production looking likely to come online by early next year. Also the Metier acquisition provides an additional revenue & cash flow stream and thus a valuation floor. On my calculation SEP has the potential to move 50-100% from here over the next 12-18mths.   http://wp.me/p3RKee-5J

@ Sugafoot

This only my theory......I reckon this guy V/D Westhiuzen's claim would hold water legally speaking so they have come to a financial settlement that they can all live with. This enables WSL to move forward with the assets now consolidated under a fully owned subsidiary.

Don't think there's anything to worry about especially now as that was the last grey cloud hanging over them.

Only blue sky above baby it's up up up & away on finals

Wescoal

Something odd, or should I be worried?
Moneyweb never carried the part of legal action in the SENS announcement...
Today, up nearly 8%...

Any ideas? Or was it market overreaction?

WSL undergoing a sell-off.

Someone wants their money out & quickly.

Smacks of some insider knowledge given the SENS just released.

I think this is the conclusion of read below from long back

Legal action

Shareholders are advised that an application has been served on inter alia, Proudafrique Trading 147 (Pty) Ltd. ("Proudafrique"), Minoscape (Pty) Ltd. ("Minoscape") Wescoal, Wescoal Exploration (Pty) Ltd. ("Wescoal Exploration"), Wescoal Mining, and three other respondents by Johannes Cornelius Van Der Westhuizen ("Van Der Westhuizen"), to:

* set aside the shareholders agreement concluded between, Proudafrique and Wescoal Exploration on 7 October 2007;

* set aside the agreement concluded on 30 July 2012 between Wescoal Exploration, Wescoal Mining and Proudafrique in terms whereof the Vlaklaagte Prospecting Right was transferred from Wescoal Exploration to Wescoal Mining; and

* for the Vlaklaagte, Verblyden and Silverbank Rights to be transferred back to Proudafrique

Van der Westhuizen is a minority shareholder of Proudafrique. The application is being opposed by Wescoal, Wescoal Exploration, Wescoal Mining, Proudafrique and Minoscape (the majority shareholder in Proudafrique). Shareholders will be kept informed of the outcome of the legal action.

While it is well documented that I is a belieber in this counter, I can only assume that this is an individual who has decided to off load.

I wasn't around much at my screen today, but will be tomorrow so hopefully he/she/it is not finished & wishes to give some more away in the R2 area.

I still think at R2.50ish is a little expensive but only for now. So the question remains why sell it down now as it's not warranted.

Could of sold out at R2.45 like mentioned below.   :) Well done by the way. ;)

I took profit at 245 and glad I did so. Might get back in if this continues. I don't think it will go below 200c. Bit risky.

The problem with SCL is they don't have enough capital to follow their obligations within their greenfield assets. They then have to issue shares for cash to stump up their end. These shares are then dumped on the market by the borrower stock is diluted Blah..Blah... Then you have the problem that some people in the UK ( price is set there) decide to play  pump & dump. About a year or so back there was a youtube thingy some lady standing in DRC or studio in downtown London....? stock up 25-30% in 1 day turns out it was a hoax. Not complaining too much as I used that day to exit at break even. As for the Robin Vela PASSOP     Didn't even know they were trading again.

p.s same thing happening to my stake in Jubilee   :(

Know of a friend who bought in a significant amount at R1,67 back in the day.. still holding as this is pure a gamble play, IF it pays off eventually it'll rocket but that's a very small if.. this one definitely not for investing! :o

Ive been watching Sacoil for years. Its a disaster. They've got some assets, but no cash, no significant revenue, no expertise, no management. The share price reflects its junk status. Stay far away.

The previous year's period had a loss, but the latest period is a profit,
