Her results will be out in October. Do you really think that the markets have done so well now that she could beat her previous results? No way what so ever.

You want to get in while the clever money has been exiting?

Their AUM has decreased with foreign money exiting for the first time since 2009.

I personally expect her to go down to the 50 area with the next results but then she will be a strong BUY if markets pick up.

Thanks Orca,

Will wait for her to slide after the results and will have my cheque book ready.

I have been watching this one for a while now.

I am thinking of starting t accumulate this one for the long term. Any opinions on the outlook over the next 6 months? Timing when to buy is very important especially with the recent slump in the share price.

Her FY ends in less than 3 months time. With the market tanking, there is no way she can better the previous year's results. Investors know this and are selling. I sold last week and am in cash now.

Share price is flirting with that R80 mark

If she drops into the 70's, I shudder to think how low she might drop :o

Trading update (released yesterday) wasn't as good as expected.

Doubt their exposure would have been limited to small percentages on what previously were blue chip stocks.

Sasol of course was a notable omission from previous post, as well the implications of African Bank which was sizable, naturally all this stuff shall crawl out the woodwork in interim results of March due out 20 May 2015.

Note Coronations explanation followed by apology for African Bank a day later.

True, would be interesting to see those percentages of AUM which are invested in those stocks. But if it is only a small percentage then i am sure CML will recover nicely

Unclear what AUM percentages consist of dead beat stocks like Anglo, Kumba + Lonmin, naturally CML graph shall mirror the average of all their investments which are all generally in very much a down trend, hence my bearish view.

There is no single thing indicating CML is in a buy, the stock has come off it;s peak and has been in a slide ever since December 2014, always check the graphs gentlemen as it is clearly at the bottom of its trading channel and shall reverse out temporarily, but thereafter continue the slippery slide down.

Short the stock if you wish to make money out of it - certainly not buy now.

I think if this stock gets to 90 i will start accumulating, this is a great stock and wouldn't mind holding this one for the long haul

CML's runs of 130% pa are over. I had a good run since 2009 when she was a Small Cap but now she is Mid Cap and has become a trading stock. No gains over the past year at all !!!.

Time to follow new stocks from Small Caps to reach Mid Caps but what? ADI comes to mind.

Sold what I left of imperial and Truworths and added more CML today. Personally, I feel it's been gathering for a bit of a push.

No one talking CML anymore.

Orca, Gamma etc etc.  I value your input.

What are your thoughts at R95?  buying opportunity?

If I had margin I will be adding here ;) will see how next week goes - if resources continue to give me cash i'll put some more in CML - with markets around the world hitting new highs this must make a run up sometime!

The bottom BB is always a good buying area and CML does not like Fridays. Monday she will be up again but she has been in a down trend channel for some time. This channel could continue. New AUM out at the end of this month.

No not entirely, sold some at peak earlier this year and then bought some back again when they dropped down to early 90's,still have a reasonable holding.

I would be surprised if you hadn't.
