What is going with Village ?? Share dropping like a stone today despite Rand Gold price the highest it has been all month

being absolutely slaughtered!!!

No support whatsoever..I feel sorry for the sim shareholders who converted to Village! With the ratio of I think 2.05: 1 , it means if there sim shares is not valued at about 38 c if the conversion had not taken place!!

 

Wonder how low this will go before it gains support? Probably one big fund manager who had over 5% now has had enough of this share and is dumping at any cost!!

If you brave, you could make some money here on a bounce back to R1.00!!

I got into this through Sim and it hurts big time. Too late to get out so I'm in for the long haul. Whatever that may be!

Quarterly out this morning again dismal reading for those still in. Plus laying the foundation for the June quarter to be much worse.

Value destruction at work here folks. Forget 60c wait for it at 35-40c when June results are released.

They making money on the antimony side and that's the asset they are selling WTF...!

This easily could of and should of been a cash generating company.

Where is the R1billion bid for Tau Lekoa gone.....? Proves their private equity model is seriously flawed.

Is ther any way of finding out how many shares Village has repurchased to date ?

Last SENS quoted them purchasing 30mil as of January 20th

 

They have authorization to buy up to 200mil roughly 20% of issued shares available.

I do not have access to a proper Village chart - want to play very short term about R20k.  See 60c as entry being discussed - any updated views on that?

I got into this one due to the Simmers story, kept on saying I'd just hold them for the long term they'll be worth something one day. Boy my version of long term is changing. What a terrible stock, should have let go... never learn.

The enigma that is Bernard Swanepoel has he gone into hiding?

I will admit part of my reasoning for buying in originally was his sales pitch.

Gold price of R480,000 kg and we will print money and give it back to shareholders.

Gold price got in excess of that for a good couple months and they couldn't take advantage of it.

Too often over promising and under delivering so Mr market had enough me thinks.

Yep these guys don't know what they doing honestly. Directors bought @1.50 and then the company buyback at R1.20 and within 2 weeks the shares drops a third to 80c. makes you wonder whos got the best views of the company.. The directors or the market??

Their private equity model is in the toilet. Getting flushed as we speak.

Gotta be very brave to take some ATM, as you say getting hammered.

Listened to Marius Saaiman a while back at the mining indaba in CT.

Part of his presentation was how the market was not reacting positively to their achievements to date.
