The formal announcement of vd merwe leaving afdawn as a result of 'conflict of interest' was maybe not the total story, he must accept the resulting haircut.

The problem with a low share price is surely impacting on the company's ability to do transactions? Give them a reason to do nothing just wait.

MVDM underwrote 50 000 000 afdawn shares at 10c per share.I never saw any announcements(not that we see any anyway)that he sold them.Since he distanced himself from adw,do you think he is content sitting with a 50% loss? Not likely.

Is this a possibility for the shareprice to remain so low and unattractive?

The other directors have a large chunk of shares. It may be that since they are in for the long ride, they don't mind the share price being so low?

On 30/9/14 I queried why Afdawn had not given one speck of news relating to any deals money matters etc regarding the company. It seems mindless to leave the shareholders in the total dark and see the price go from 20c to 5c.I mentioned the only possible reason I could see was that the directors wanted the share price to tumble...........for a reason I cannot understand. In December they MUST inform us of a years trade and results.I still believe we are all in for a pleasant surprise.

Can anyone shed some light on this most bizarre situation

Share options become cheaper....management has surely arranged some nice options as they think they are doing a great job

Very interesting point. Mushroom treatment - keep you in the dark and feed you manure.

What makes it even more bizarre is that they state in the Annual Report that they rate their Governance re stakeholder relationship an amazing 3/3, all elements! The bottom line they do not perceive the minorities (minnow stakeholders) as important. No pleasant surprises - an AGM on the 12th December a very handy date (lol). If they are busy with any development other than 'Grindstone'  (sic) the usual vagueness they have to put it in the public domain and not just share it with the privileged few? I challenge them to deny this....

Anybody understand what this mean? From the Elite website....'AfDawn (Pty) Ltd will play an important supporting roll in the business life of Elite Group (Pty)Ltd.'

Take a look at Annual Report 2014 on the web site. Also very interesting that the Board feels that they are in compliance with Stakeholder Relations. Page 20 a matter of perception? I think they are not transparent, do not communicate with shareholders, do not treat all shareholders equal etc. Are the keeping key shareholders more informed?

The agenda of the AGM seems to be a generic endorsement of the status maybe they will share strategy and operational plans with the meeting? Question time is going to be fun. For me I am not going to vote for some of the Board members to be re-elected - I will be a lone voice but let *** be. Seems to be to much of a close circle of inbreeding I hope the non-executive Board members will attend the AGM. I think the market do not like what is happening and the empty promises and egg dance thus the share price and trades.

Agreed...it appears our good Samaritans make others very rich using our money and personell.(they do not profit from fees or take equity stakes in participating companies). They also keep their shareholders totally in the dark about any money orientated events or developments. One must question....... why ???

The only logical explaination is to keep the share price rock bottom for a reason I am not sure of.........I do still believe that when we find out in December what they have done during the last 9 months, the results will be positive.

Has this anything to do with Afdawn's vision and upside? It seems like more of the same the shareholders (Afdawn's) funding feel good and making other people rich dreams. I will put money on it that all trades are between existing shareholders. They have two months to convince shareholders to vote for the resolutions at the AGM.

The company needs doers not talkers; somebody must get their hands dirty - expediting their, now very old new vision (announced early 2013.....)! Just work through their statements and SENS announcements lots of promises (business development related) no visible action. Unfortunately also no visible leadership. With all the changes and raising of funds one should expect feedback on progress. What is a good share price - 7 cents per share?

1,2 million shares traded today. Was the re branding announced or are we speculating?Appears we must wait for results at the end of November.Practically speaking, they must  have invested some money  in the "lets make other people rich"scheme.I don't believe that they have done nothing over the last 6 months and if they have ,I like to think it was positive, not negative. All in all,on the pathetic base of 5c I believe it will shortly start moving nortwards.

If it does not it could "turtles up".... but I relly do not forsee this. The MBA gurus could not live with it????

I hear a rebranding as Knife Capital Investments and appointment of Keet van Zyl as CEO/COO is on the table, this will surely justify the salary increases?

I wonder what the KC Board members' salaries are? What did they earn when it was still their own resources that they used for salaries...I guess they all received a fat 60% increase to create value for the Afdawn shareholders!

Some volumes going through today as on 1 September 2014...probably nothing, but relatively to the other days it is noticeable...
