Contribution of the position to performance (because of size) will be marginal. 

30 June 2014 AUM - R576 billion. 4billion position = 69bp. Loose 50% = 35bp loss. Market movements of other positions swallow that up.

AUM has nothing to do with performance.... You can have a 10 trillion AUM but perform real bad.

Contribution of the position to performance (because of size) will be marginal.

Agreed Stoffels still it's minimum couple billion rand.

Drop in the oceans compared to their AUM. Will hardly notice it in there performance.

303 million shares or 20.19% (as of yesterday). PIC owns 15.15%

They did with banks in the Euro zone the other year so it's not as if it's gone, just who is gonna bail them out.

Yeah... only PIC & CML come to mind as they're BEEEG hitters in this counter

Last I recall Sanlam had about 6% also 

But if you burn through 5billion in 6mths not too many takers around me thinks.

 

Maybe it's Leon Kirkis throwing his toys out of the cot after being fired....
