+ i see this rising wedge forming with a potential to run to 500

+ the 1HR frame moved above the 13ema from 9am convincingly so im not going short

Hi, am still very new to trading and only just recently opened an account with IG.

 

Making a lot of mistakes and am in the red but hoping to improve over time as I learn.

 

Been reading comments on here. Very useful learning advice provided. Thanks all

The only reason why I asked is:

 

if you watched todays price action, nothing but the pound took this market down, up, down , up down and again up!! yes, not the ftse or dow futures but only the pound!!

 

What I was thinking was if someone could design a live chart which has the alsi price action together with the pound exchange rate incorporated in one, it will make for  a lovely scalp setup....

only went long today, why?  firstly because everyone thought this lady is going down and secondly the 13ema and 34ema support held as well as CCi14 (briefly went below 0) and 50 never came close to breaking - this was around 10am

 

at 11ish CCi14 broke completely as well as 13/34ema - BUT CCI50 held!!

 

now everyone is waiting for the neckline to form @ 300(IG) and break - i would be carefull until the 50 breaks

The market maker saw your s/l.  Kept my short and short again at 46382. Oversee is going down.

Im off to mosque...Im pre emptying the break...Took a short @46300...100 points stop!!

shoulder formed, head formed...now on neckline...still to make a right shoulder!!

 

if it does, maybe 120 points downhill too!!

Was waiting for cross of 0 on cci20. Did short now and will add on retest of 0 line. It could have bounced and i was only looking for the pips on the closing of the ema3 against the ema34. Went short at 46343 and 46304.

Closed short at 46344. When the ema3 get close to the ema13. Did not want to take the risk of another 20 points to 46325.
