Looking at the trades today. It does seem that someone is playing the market.....small trades at high prices.

This is the only time in the past two years that there has been such a large disconnect between the two markets. Pity I cannot paste the Excel chart here which highlights it.
I just sold mine at 3.50 and bid for 3.15. Patience. They only start production really at the end of the year. Till then I'll speculate away

Sole, do you mean that there is always a disconnect or that eventually it will catch up to each other?

I sold some shares between 350c and 375c. ASX price only 270c - i have gone bid at 275c. If you look at the longer-term ASX price in ZAR and the local price, the periods of disconnect always correct.

That was my earlier question, I can only imagine the two prices aren't linked. The current price is what we (on the JSE) are willing to pay. You'll notice that Tawana is up by 10% today (so far) and closed 1.85% down on the ASX. We must just start auctioning at lower prices and hope that we get the bids and it very well is that there aren't the same volumes trading on the JSE as on the ASX.
Unless I got it all wrong and the 30% premium is import duties

Which begs the question, are we overpaying for TAW on the JSE? Too much speculation perhaps? Or not enough shares being traded?

Hi Guys
Your thoughts as to why TAW ASX is after closing R2.70 (10:1 exchange rate) and TAW JSE is R3.50, a whopping 30% premium. Why is there no price parity??

Closed at same price as opening and capital has been raised. Thinking of 2nd mortgage. Anyone need a liver? Hardly used

But we still have deals on our side pending on the JSE? Not sure how dual listed companies work regarding auction and share prices.
In other words, the are separate entities? We could still hold true or gain regardless of ASX. Specially since Capital has been raised now.

Capital Raising is declared at A$ 0.25. Current selling price is A$ 0.27 before trading halt. Seems we will still be able to get some at just below the current share price.
From what I read capital is required to obtain 50% of mine as per the requirement of offtake agreement.
Probably won't work, but thinking of selling at R3.18 waiting for auction to start at lower prices and then get back in. A dangerous game.
The public holiday isn't much helping the cautious excitement at what happens with this stock next

This is what caught my eye
"Tantalum concentrates are excluded and separate discussions are underway with potential off take parties."
Like kids before Christmas....

We are left in suspense for a while still.
