The EGM is tomorrow to approve the rights issue. Results of EGM will be published on the 6th.

The Follow on Rights issue circular on the Aveng website.Hope the maths is right ! 6,7 bn shares to be issued at 1.5 c (R100m). There are 58 bn shares shares in issue . So only 1 right/share available for every 8.65 (58bn/6.7bn) shares owned.

Some shareholders will offload for the profit but they will only be entitled to 1 right/share for every +/-9 shares held so hopefully the volumes being offloaded will be small. I think bigger shareholders will wait for the price to move.

And the SENS out is that Bank of America now owns 7% of the shares on offer. Which is nice
I think we might still see 4c for a while after the 2nd rights offer as the 1.5c will put a lot of share holders that bought at 4c into profits. So they might just dispose at 4c again. Here is hoping they can have the sense to wait around for a few more cents.

When you speak of "Earnings", is that HEPS or just revenue? Or that very convoluted EBITDA... ?
I'm looking at their interim results and they declared "Group revenue increased to R12,9 billion" how would that equate to "Earnings"
"Earnings used in EPS reflects deductions for interest expense, taxes, depreciation and amortization."

Down to 484 million. On the other side the number of bids at 3 cents has increased to 340 orders totalling 490 million....The serious buyers here will have to soon have to accept that the probability of buying at this price is very low and that if they don´t buy at 4 cents in the next 2 weeks they will be looking at the only available shares being 5 cents +

R2 a bit optimistic
64 Billion shares @ R2 gets you to R128Bil market cap. If you assume a Multiple of around 6,5 ->thats Earnings of R25,6B. I dont believe that AEG is close to that in the near future. Further away? Anythings possible
