Too bad we no longer own 100 percent of this.
Yes I agree its due to greedy shareholders supporting the Hamiltons that they had to sell part of PEPCO!!!!

Don't need to own 100%,
Listing Pepco was a very clever move to unlock value and obtain some Capital.
At Listing 100% Value at Eur 5 Billion (575,000,000 shares at Eur 8.70)
SNH retained 78,9% and received Eur 1 Billion
Steinhoff's Pepco value today is Euro 5,367,975,250 (excluding what it had received)
So in essence, effectively better off today to the tune of Euro 1,367,975,250 (or R23, 5 Billion )
"Don't think thats to shabby Nige" this should be enough to cover "Head office costs and Louis's salary" for a while !!!

Good set of results and should be better going forward as these countries vaccinations programs are well advanced.

Nobody should be above the Law and you definitely won’t prosper in Lawless society!
Now run along and go look at the red on your SNH portfolio.
With your defamatory and insulting remarks you should be joining Zuma in prison. If you so concerned about a lawful society hero. You run along.

So instead of attacking each other, what do people think of the Pepco results released today?
Good?....bad?

No contradiction bully. I say time and time again its all about money. If I can't get money out of someone or something its a waste of time. I say that Louis must chuck because he is costing me money. Imprisoning Zuma has economically put this country back by a year and made it vulnerable. For What? I am not interested in ego fights. I want to make money. I want to see South Africa prosper. And by locking Zuma up is not going to fix up Eskom or Build a dam. Its going to put us backward. It is a stupid political ploy then has done harm to our country. So not sure why you getting excited about that. Louis just like Zuma and Cyril is useless and has been pocketing immense amounts of wealth at my expense and must chuck. If he can't pay back the bonuses. I am not going to take him to a flawed constitutional court to be locked. BECAUSE I WON'T GET A CENT FOR IT.

So wake up the country is burning. And Louis is still earning his 100 million rands at your expense.
You can disagree with someone but don't make false accusations about contradictions just to discredit the person that you disagree with.

You always contradict yourself on this forum. You post day in and day out about accountability of SNH management, yet you want the 79 year old to die in silence!

I am sure it will impact all retailers. A lot of apparel probably comes through Durban so there is automatically a stop there. If this is prolonged its going to probably create shortages down the line. With it the physical damage and downtown coupled with people losing jobs. Its a sad thing. All because they awoke a 79 year old idiot who could have just died silently instead.

Wonder what impact this looting in JHb and Durban will have on Pepkor. Sad but it's going to impact share price again big time

That was a jump of 4.3%, and from previous history this is a pre-indication of pending news something leaked.

Yes, I would have thought that too, currently it is down 1c , unless there is an exchange rate impact at play.

That's odd, Usually the prices locally rise and fall to reflect the overseas one
