What is so ground breaking about Hamilton's appeal withdrawal in Amsterdam? Perhaps, after the Western Cape High Court ruling, they are now concentrating on undermining the overall settlement in South Africa.

Yes I agree but looks like market get very exited ( I guess at least in Amsterdam Hamilton is done!!) the same way why is excited about the fatal blow Hamilton gave SNH in South Africa which I am still trying to find it!!!

 

I very much doubt the guarantee being nil and void going to stop the process!!!

Everyone would have made more money if this was dropped to start of with and Louis had good leadership and negotiation skills.
And all those billions weren't wasted on consultants and lawyers.

Ok the consultants lawyers and Louis wouldn't.

But there needs to be a fundamental change at Steinhoff management or else it will be lead down this road of value destruction.

Dont hold your breath Ann only lives for SNH negative reporting. She cannot find anything positive in Steinhoff, she must be Zanme's sister!! Hahah

Good summary, you missed the total settlement amount tho of 1 Billion Euro.

And with Fridays news this 1 Billion might have to be increased.

And if we don't get a clear answer from Steinhoff soon this legal risks is getting bigger.

If we don't see a global settlement by end of December our credit lines might not be extended and we might have to go into liquidation.

Don't get me wrong I'm still holding a big portion of shares and I will most probably top up below 1 rands but the news on Friday was a really bad one which I wasn't expecting. I want a clear message now from management on what the consequences are and what the next steps will be.

Till then I'm afraid we will see lower share prices.

Again this is just my personal opinion.

Hi Andy I left out the settlement because thats to come only towards the end of the year. My thoughts are by then PEPCO share price should have gone up Eur2 which will add another Eur1 bil value.
