More Amsterdam ruling:

Court Decision Concerning the Replacement of a Member of the Committee of Representation
Following the application filed by the SoP administrators on 25 June 2021 to replace one of the members
of the Committee of Representation, the Amsterdam District Court has today approved that request and
decided to replace Ms. C.M. Reijnen by Mr. G.M. Warringa. Please find the original Dutch version of the
ruling below. An (informal) English translation will follow soon.

Techs worked perfectly for me in May 2020, by predicting the low and also the month of the same low (all documented in my posts on this forum).

In contrast, members were calling for 50,40,30,20 and ZERO. Apparently if Steinhoff is paying out money (Proposed Global Settlement) how is that good for the share price

I don’t buy β€œbecause price is going up”. I trust my analysis, have a plan and execute accordingly. The rest is up to the market.

My analysis still tells me that 290c will be broken rather than 50c but hey, each to their own right  :)

Good summary, you missed the total settlement amount tho of 1 Billion Euro.

And with Fridays news this 1 Billion might have to be increased.

And if we don't get a clear answer from Steinhoff soon this legal risks is getting bigger.

If we don't see a global settlement by end of December our credit lines might not be extended and we might have to go into liquidation.

Don't get me wrong I'm still holding a big portion of shares and I will most probably top up below 1 rands but the news on Friday was a really bad one which I wasn't expecting. I want a clear message now from management on what the consequences are and what the next steps will be.

Till then I'm afraid we will see lower share prices.

Again this is just my personal opinion.

Its almost 4 years now and what are we waiting for.

Brait is running its head office at R160 million. Steinhoff is 1.8 billion.

Do you know the detail breakdown of this 1.8 billion?

i.e. - Do you know what costs have been attributed to the "head-Office".....it is high benchmarked against a normal company.....but this not a normal times for SNH...so how do we assess the validity?

It hit a low of 68c, all the uncertainties were there, nothing has changed yet it ran up to R2. 20 plus. Uncertainties r still there. So is that typical of Mr market sucking u in and spittin u out? For sure the possibilities are there that court cases might fall in snh favor, but that's a gamble right? As per Friday's sens.

So yea I wait patiently for my cough 50c . That's my useless opinion 😁

One thing I know for sure, Charts and technicals means squat! It's all about the news on this one

This name dropping means very little. Look at Brait how they doing things with a vulnerable portfolio the CEO is practically turning things around. Smart guys that know what they doing. Steinhoff cannot be relying on their legal team they need to rely on their own ability. This is not rocket science.

Hi Zanme surely you can see the diference between Brait issues due to high debt and poor financial decision and Eur 6.5 bil fraud!!! There is no comparison!!!

I was expecting something on Monday but it was holidays in the USA and I would expect they need to discuss with the creditors possibly in the USA. I am not worried the SNH legal team is good and we must not forget the expert Peter Wakkie he has seen this before!!!

Yes, makes one worry a bit hey.  It is already 4 days after the Western Cape Court  judgement, and

in the Sens of 2/7, Steinhoff stated that it will consider the implications of the judgement and will provide an update soon.

Well, it is already 4 days later and the share price is slipping Mr duPreez !! .....on the back of a complicated judgement that few understand.

So I suggest, that, if you want to stop the rot,  you and your team better  burn the midnight  oil and get a 'sensible' Sens  out ASAP  to inject some confidence into the market again.

Thanks DTD! You deal with the facts. And facts would be the only resolve...

Nice facts but the reality if things are not done right those assets will dissappear. The head office cost must come down to around R200 million. Debt has to be swapped around or else liabilities will just increase.

My prognosis of Steinhoff has never been that the assets are not there I wouldn't be invested in it in the first place.

But Louis has been eating away at these assets and there is no end in sight and that needs to STOP.

Daddy Louis has actually cost me more than Markus. He is such a sad sad story.

A group that had assets in excess of R200 billion after write offs etc is trading at 6 billion. Its mind boggling what Louis has achieved here.

Yes I totally agree but you barking the wrong tree, go and talk to the Hamiltons and Trevos.

You know in December 2017 the Hamilton's were no ware to be seen yet the same creditor they now fighting had the bxxls to take on the debt and save Steinhoff.

Now all of a sudden they want the same rights.

I honestly feel for you but you need to focus and see what actually is the issues. The fight is shareholders that have no guarantee on the shares they buy in open market want  the same right as a creditor that bought bonds??? Surely you will agree with me there is something wrong here!!

Market cap down to 6.1 billion. Trading at a multiple of 3.4 times head office costs.
Its ludicrous.
