I think as a collective the guys on this forum would have done a better job than Louis and his band of billion payouts. Including good old Polly who still is correct.

Zanme you not saying anything new here. A lot of what you say is true. But what you are achieving by doing this here I am trying to understand. I haven't lost much due to the fraud, some people have. Things are happening and whatever must be must be. Like you said we don't live in a just world and probably best to accept it. Unless you can do something about it.

Delta you should be crying with the way things are turning out at Steinhoff. Yes I would have managed this far better. I wrote emails to management at the beginning asking them why do they even need PwC or the fancy Americans and still pay themselves. I would never have wasted money on nonsense like that to start of with. I would have restructured the debt on my own these are cash cow businesses they pay their own debt they don't need American consultants. I would never have conceded to any of the tantrums from Christo but would have handed the claims back to him. Stellenbosch is a small place you tell me these guys are not acting for each other thereby destroying value for us? I would definitely have gotten rid of everything linked to Christo and his godson including Louis and Heather oh we found dirt on her as well that one. I would have got management who wants to work to create value for me and not management whos plan is to retire as a billionare.

It is pretty logical and I know this because I have direct experience. The reality is that South Africa as a country has become a free for all. Go read Magnus Heysteck article about the lost decade on the JSE. How many companies can you find that have created value. The ones that do go private. There is Capitec but another Stellenbosch has a vested interest in it. How can Christo in any legal jurisdiction sue indirectly us when he was negligent in his duties and this can be proven. So we should we be suing him. So unfortunately the reality is that together with the government the private sector is just as corrupt. Shareholders like on this forum go on about the same things for three and a half years but with no result. Yet Louis has scored R111 million in two years. To me that is wrong. And if you or any shareholder is happy with that then there is something seriously wrong.

Laugh at yourself Sleepy and the terrible management present in almost every South African company all dodgy guys. So not sure if you guys are paid spin doctors or anything but core to the problem is crap management in all of these companies Ascendis Steinhoff the works. Only when there is a blow up by the media do you guys wake up a bit. I mean look at Markus Christo they are crooks that have to be behind bars and every asset of theirs used to solve the wrongs that they have done. But instead they sipping wine in Stellenbosch and we have to pay them to sip more. It is just blatantly unjust. And there is nothing else to discuss about Steinhoff or contribute but that all of these guys that had exposure to Markus have to suffer the consequences that he has to suffer. If that happened three years ago Steinhoff share price would have been over R30. Maybe we would have been enjoying some of it with fresh management. All of our assets intact Pepkor Pepco and the works. But instead they enjoying it and you are laughing at me.

The share price is factual enough. Not sure what gets you guys excited. Actually most of these comments have been meaningless like the management of Steinhoff stuck at 1.80 with the potential of going to zero. Louis earned R111 over the past two years. 2.45 and 3.47 million EUROS. I don't know about you unless you are is son but I won't be seeing that my money in my lifetime. So I don't know what else to contribute here. The same things have been regurgitated for the past three and a half years and the dilemma is still the same. So please humor yourselves when you want to praise management at your Stellenbosch mardigra but don't insult me and my money because these guys behavior if I was a judge is completely criminal. He has a job to create wealth for US but he has just destroyed and if I want to use this platform to expose this criminal behavior I have every right to do so. Louis is not worth a cent in my opinion but just because he has a particular name nobody can say anything about the godson.

Its actually shocking how excited you guys get for them making money and conning every existing shareholder. To have the share parked at 1.8 forever now is nothing. Getting rid of great assets to pay consultants and litigants who factually should not get a cent. They should claim against themselves ie Christo and his god son Markus. You guys don't take your ownership seriously. If I was management that is what I would have done. Counter claimed every claim that existed. Because Steinhoff as a legal entity did nothing wrong. The perpetrators are Markus and his merry men that includes Louis what happened to Heather??? And the godfather Christo he is not my godfather why should we be bowing down to him. They didn't save Steinhoff from anything. Steinhoff is fine. It is a solvent company in its current form. They let this thing run wild to serve themselves and their masters. Technically speaking if after Markus cry baby left and nothing was done. The company would have had in excess of R30 billion in cash which would have been saved from all the consultants etc if not more than that. What would shareholders have had to cry about??? The share price is determined by the market. The share price would have probably been at the R30 level and there would have been no reason for any payouts. Great ruling for Steinhoff!

Reading through the judgement carefully, one can appreciate the detailed strategy SNH have executed and this can be seen is the cleverly execution of the GSP

In terms of the "Brandaris Sysytem" which is allowed in the case of more than 5000 creditors (which is the case with SNH), the appointed and now Court approved "Committee of Representatives" carefully put together by SNH are the ones to votes on behalf of all the creditors/claimants at the upcoming voting on the composition pland on 30 June.

Clearly, Hamilton are not going to succeed and at very best may be able to appointy 1 person to the Committee who will ultimately be voting on the Plan

Interesting how the PIC came out against Lancaster and disputed their authority to act on behalf of the PIC.

The number of votes required for the GSP to be accepted is "three-forths". With the number of claimants/creditors that presented their case to support the Application, I am confident we will already have far more than the required 75% come 30th June.

From what I can deduce, all the stars are alligning for Steinhoff and we will shortly have achieved the second of the 3 milestones!!!

Are you making more than 150 million that Louis has earned???! Don't understand your glory be to management Jack save me Titanic quote. Are you comparing the management to the captain of the titanic because factually they are worst. They are earning more than the market cap of the company over time and you excited for them are you Louis undercover???

Rights issue will be at a discount. Look at Aveng it was done at 1.5 cents. Louis continues to make millions counting up R150 million since he became CEO and all he has done is scored own goals. But the cheerleaders are so grateful for his existence. Serving Stellenbosch PWC Fancy American banks at our expense. It is illegal in the true sense of justice but we don't live in a just world. Purely reading how almost everyone on the thread glorifies everything that they have not achieved.
