Probably the clearest article I've read about Steinhoff since December 2017.

it seems the more Steinhoff gets right...the more frantic the local news gets trying to bad mouth them.....it is almost if they need Steinhoff to stay in trouble....

Yes indeed the roaring business that needed cash injection the year before from a investment house in the UK.

Actis bought 42.5% of Tekkie Town in November 2014  for $65 mil and received from SNH over $100k for the sale in 2016. Maybe this can be explained in court how this growth happened,

Steinhoff announced on or about 14 February 2021 that it had entered into a conditional
agreement with Conservatorium Holdings LLC (“Conservatorium”) and entities connected to
Dr Christo Wiese (“CW Entities”) to settle the outstanding disputes between and among
Steinhoff, Conservatorium and the CW Entities. Steinhoff today announces that such
agreement has become unconditional upon Steinhoff and the CW Entities entering into
agreements under which those entities and their affiliates will support the Steinhoff global
settlement.

the question would be...will they be able to block it or are they to small to do it?

I am not sure, but I suspect they are too small.

Snh just broke euro 0.13 cents on tradgate

How closely does the share price on the JSE follow the likes of TradeGate and that other Dutch site, LS..something?

Thanks CowboyTrader very interesting so obviously PIC not scared of SNH being liquidated. If they just spent R82 mil (assuming average price of R1.50) looks to me they will accept the deal. The same for Old Mutual!!!

This is very comforting. Be very interested to understand the institutional investment thesis here and what permits share purchase. They managing clients funds. Hemce they would have to categorise the buy as speculative- or risk based. High risk. If you dont have snh shares....this would certainly be a compelling reason
