So who uses the algorithm trading, people wakeup!!!

  http://financialmark...algorithmic.htm

Who uses trading algorithms?
Trading algorithms are used by several market participants, among these are:

Hedge funds
Mutual funds
Pension funds
Institutional investors
Retail traders

To what I have heard in the JSE algorithm trading is now well over 60% of the daily trading. So imagine whats happening in Frankfurt!!!

Because that what Algorithms do. The machine made the money on the up and lost it on the down at end of the day was cash neutral.

I don't know where this hate comes from. Management cant do nothing that one idiot didn't agree to extend. However management has made a plan B and this will be a success. Tradegate is talking. Tomorrow we are opening with a huge GAP on the JSE. Hope you guys are not sitting on short.

Exactly this is how stupid some people are trying to bend the truth about management. (I agree with TRUMP fake news) This was already forseen and was mentioned on the proposal so to me proves one more time uninformed people are as usual finding fault with management yet a perfect job done one more time. CONGRATULATIONS LDP to you and you smart team!!!

Tradegate volume already appears to be leveling off...

I have said this over and over majority of the trading is done by machines using algorithms. So when news comes up the system calculates the importance set like for example the anouncement was expectec so the computers are set if approval is received buy. but the problem the machines are not clever enough to read the whole story then some machine owner reads the news and reset them and then we see the fall until balance is reached.

As anyone asked why I would by shares for E0.0536 the soon after sell it for E0.0509?

You guys need to be aware of this factor. This is the reason why many people loose money.

Typical pump and dump on Tradegate it seems...looks like the SA market wasn't biting as they closed over 4% down. This delay is not doubt caused by people who have more money than what they know what to do with. Is it to do with the Tekkie Town debacle?

In order for "Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006" to be granted, Steinhoff will have to convince the court, while the opposing institution can counter claim, and the court then will decide.

Tom i would argue that 1oo% support not required and this is a done deal via alterntaive mechanism. And there 5billion you talk to as well is not forced onto snh by virtue of 5% of the holders in that category. Majority rule may apply.
Regarding wiese...he is sadly in no mans land and has settled.. his percentage was significant and the settlement proposal is now on its way to finalisation....you may be negative and i may be overly positive....i am long and you may have shorted the share.....

The "SEAG Facility A2" is the biggest of the loans' agreements amounts to "€3.81bn" and has the biggest interest rate (which is 10.75%), so for this loan agreement to refuse any delay, means Steinhoff most come up with the money in 13 months from now, which means during next year Steinhoff most announce if they can pay the sum of (3.81*0.1075*3years) more than 5 billion Euros or not, and so far they don't seam to be able to get such cash.

That in addition to their biggest case, with Wiese and his creditors, is still not decided, and then other claims from TT and others that didn't so far accept the settlement offer, where they will be suing in the Dutch and German courts.

Probably the creditors that refused will be fighting this in the British courts and any other courts, as these creditors probably want their money asap, and have no intention to wait for Steinhoff endless mess, which would mean more time and more uncertainty.

Another thing... And I think someone's mentioned it before... There is no "shareholders are advised to exercise caution...." sentence... Aren't they supposed to withdraw a cautionary announcement formally?

100% correct. They have approved the extension and settlement proposal. They just need a bit more time to implement.

Also important part:

- Steinhoff is pleased to announce that it has received overwhelming support from its financial creditors in respect of the Proposed Settlement.

- The SEAG CPU will run in parallel with other processes and as such is not expected to delay the intended implementation of the Proposed Settlement. As previously announced, Steinhoff’s intention is to implement the Proposed Settlement as soon as possible.

share jumped +10% already on TRadegate
