I just cannot understand what is going on in the markets at the moment. If you look at valuations and back those with fundamentals it makes absolutely no sense.
Also I cannot understand why the Steinhoff share price isn't rising after that positive news on Friday. But again fundamentals these days make no sense at all.
As an example, last week Allegro was IPO'ed in Warsaw.
The company is now valued at more than 15 Billion Euro.
Fundamentals of Allegro in 2019:
-EBITDA of 230 Million €. They grow their EBITDA at around 18% to 25% year on year
Now Pepco Group:
-EBITDA of 326 Million €. They grew by 36%. It is also expected to grow at 20-30% per annum. They valued it at 4 Billion €.
I will just leave that example here as you cannot compare apples with pears but it gives you an indication that even at the Pepco valuation I think Steinhoff has tried to keep the valuation as low as possible to get rid of the claims.
I always have in the back of my mind a sense that so much info is kept from your average Joe Soap, kippy investor, like ourselves. When there is huge amounts of money to be made, as in sports, you can bet your lifesavings that there is corruption, deceit and cheating involved somewhere. I wonder if the 'Big Boy' investors know stuff that we don't. For all we know liquidation has been on the cards from day one of the **** hitting the fan, and they are all squeezing every last rand they can make by fabricating bullshit news to the public. Just some thoughts to keep in mind...and the reason why I have only made SNH about 5% of my overall portfolio; enough to have a big smile if things do go well, and enough to not want to hang myself if things go down the drain.

It appears that 90c is the new base and will most likely hover around there for the next few weeks until the next SENS.

Hoping for the same. Bought a bit yesterday as I thought it would be the bottom end of profit taking at around 90c. Hopefully this mornings decent performance backs up our theory.

Day 3....the dump!... and then the slow poison to 50c
I really don't see it dropping below 70c again, unless liquidation is announced...

Looks like we should have taken R1.02
Good advice sir.
My opinion is resistance will be around R1,25 R1,50 and then R1,80
For me personally anything over R1,25 and I’ll start selling small batches, hoping to buy again at lower prices later.

For that look away .....
Process finalization
Debt restructure extension
Debt repayment , first payment ..
For r2 think we need more info...for now . r1 and r1.20 realistic....and many trade this share...so will see a base formed....don't be surprised up 20 percent down 10 percent ..especially as tomorrow is d2 sa and day 3 germany......by Wednesday may see the base....
Hoping the r2 comes sooner and a base formed at r2

I belive this time the train left the station not to return. There is going to be a sharp rise Monday then the usual pull back to rebalance but it will keep well over the E0.05 and when creditor approval is received there will be again a huge jump so by the end of October we will see E0.1 to E0.2. Faster your seat belts!!!
