Lesson...buy the risk....bite your lips ...and wait it out......hope many are smiling and many more get to smile...may not cover the tears but at least there is upside for us...

Its not over yet, I am still in the red, it needs to go to R2

Up another 20% on Tradegate for the day. I think we can expect another big spike tomorrow.

This was a good run so far and if it breaches 1.05 (SMA200) tomorrow we can expect a decent run in the coming days/weeks.

And I mean at the moment all lights a green/orange.

-Steinhoff has mentioned in their SENS that most litigants have agreed to the terms. Just conservatorium is giving issues, however discussion are well in advance. So the likelihood of this failing is moderate/low

-Steinhoff mentioned creditors have agreed to terms and consent will be hopefully obtained in 3 to 8 weeks. I'm pretty sure they have engaged with the creditors and have received their consent already. They just need to formalize it.

-Reserve bank - This shouldn't be a big risk as the reserve bank knows if they disagree Steinhoff will go down and much more money will leave SA.

Guys the way Steinhoff has worded the SENS is much more promising than in the past. Also you guys have probably noted that they are not warning shareholders to be cautious when dealing in the Steinhoff shares.

Lets hopefully enjoy this ride :)

That’s a big IF. That ceiling is built from concrete.

It has broken R1

Yes the traders are dumping around this mark.

Hope for some more good momentum, but earlier this year it went all the Way up to R1,80 odd and came crashing down so I don’t see why we will break this pattern yet until it’s all confirmed and wrapped up, including refinancing the loans at current interest rates

That’s a big IF. That ceiling is built from concrete.

Thanks IN

If it breaks R1 we might see R1,25-R1,30 quite quickly...

Was hoping there was more energy and reach 100m shares traded. May see gradual interest. But caution short term could see up and down especially of there is any accompanying news or negative trading update....happy with current momentum....buy for a few years ....or speculate and trade this share.....
Enjoy.....and if you missed the boat....there is always another......going both ways

IN I have a question - I noticed before you mentioned price will rise once Usa opens up. Why would this be the case? Buying in Europe or SA? Have you seen this accelerate share price increases before?

Thanks in advance for the thoughts

If you speculating get some shares now, as Europe and USA interest will also pile in today later in the day....if you looking for a pump and dump....tomorrow evening sa closing trade you may want to exit. I think sufficient energy to go to r1.10......at 85c thats 20c to the rand

Bleeding money is never a good thing is it... And covid affected their sales hugely, less income... More payouts to be made

The guy who wrote the article should mortgage his  house and short the share then. Okes need to put money where they think is right...

"

On Friday Steinhoff issued a reminder of how complex and time-consuming the process of securing a settlement with its very many claimants is likely to be. But it says it is making progress with the claimants and their battalions of lawyers and has just launched a “consent request” to obtain the formal support of its financial creditors. For the legal fraternity Steinhoff’s collapse really has been the ‘gift that keeps giving’ – there surely won’t be much left over after all the lawyers are paid."

Taken from a Moneyweb article written over the weekend by Ann Crotty. The bold statement is what scares me to put anymore in...

Haha Lionel you remember the words "You snoze you loose" I you bought at R0.76 and gets to your R4 then you would have made 426%. You recall mesaying I keep on buying!!!! So whats the logic to wait for the share to rise 426% then invest??? Haha becareful too many green beers makes your head fuzzy!!!

Why R4?.... Am looking for market confidence, not the BS from management... Real progress, significant progress... Remember those words?

But yes you are correct, from.80c to R4 is a huge jump ain't it, am still sticking to my guns on buying more at 50c....not now, this pump still early days

This news is good for two reasons..entrenches the base....but importantly will see more energy. The news is great, but we need better....may see pump and dump...if you not on board don't lose heart lots of time to load.....will also see us and downs....whats a worry was the pull back after the initial flurry. Lets see what Monday brings. .could be a 3 day pump to r1.20 or more...and then rebate and then 6 weeks when we get more news...
Great sens out.....finally....something good for us.....patience........remember we have time to load all the weay for the next few weeks.....

I belive this time the train left the station not to return. There is going to be a sharp rise Monday then the usual pull back to rebalance but it will keep well over the E0.05 and when creditor approval is received there will be again a huge jump so by the end of October we will see E0.1 to E0.2. Faster your seat belts!!!
