It's weird ... that guy has been doing a virtual victory lap for over a week now - after crazy macroeconomic & geopolitical events last last few weeks have caused some negative price action everywhere, including Steinhoff (but never getting close to his targets). 

 

Who knows, but it seems that the stock has continued to find buyers under 20 cents / 3.5, and with a positive update (ideally including step 3) we may well see a bit of a pump.

I admire the foristas here in this South African forum. Decency and objectivity. Currently there is a huge amount of frustration among the German speakers in the Ariva Steinhoff forum and they insult each other in the most disgusting manner. I wonder if that' s because of the cancellations of their yacht and sports car orders.   

 

So, off to the beach for some fishing, braai and klippies...

I don't think this is anything sinister....it a a norm for companies to acquire shareholder  approval....for example if it wants to help Pepkor financially for whatever reason.....
