The Boards continue to consider the contents of the PwC Report. Actions now being

progressed include the following:

• Consideration of the findings in the PwC Report to ensure that they are

treated appropriately in the preparation of the Group’s financial statements

for the 2017 and 2018 financial years.

• Pursuit of recovery of losses incurred and damages suffered by the Group.

• Full assistance and co-operation with any criminal investigations against

those who perpetrated the unlawful actions and with other regulatory

authorities.

• Finalisation and implementation of the remediation plan.

• Consideration of the Group’s options to address the various litigation action

initiated against the Group.

• Further detailed review of the findings of the PwC Report and finalisation of

the scope of work for Phase 2 of the investigation.

things, in the event that any allegations against the Steinhoff Group by third party

If this share does fly... It would be good for those that sold at lost to get back some value.... But all this is unpredictable.. If this share gets pumped by frankfurt... Hope sa gets on....
May be up and down until more certainty... But today it's up in frankfurt as you say....

Frankfurt already touched 0.1424 which is R2.31 so standby get a case of green beer and go to Tahiti!

Apparently only 6 Billion euros will be written off of the 16 Billion euro share capital. That gives us an 2,3 Euro NAV. If this is true this share will fly next week.

will only know doomsday scenario once they publish AFS, 6.5billion inflated doesnt sound good at all.....will wait and see how they structure that....but will play for it

Shame, were you expecting a doomsday scenario. Fortunately what it does say is that a thorough process was undertaken and a phase two is required. Strategic valuable assets did not receive false income... Hence what we see is we got....
Culprits will be targeted and hopefully some recovery. Potentially minimal.
Blame lies with a few....
Need to understand the accounting of this and how it affects the valuation... Or as some say... Junk. Is junk... Or not.
This supports restructuring.
Helps defer blame with evidence....
Await the coming week conversation and seeking alphas report.

So after all it was not as bad as everyone was saying. Share will recover nicely from now in my opinion. Obviously there was write offs due to Intangible assets but obviously there will be as there is judgement involved. Can't await the financials. Look at the big players pumping this share as soon as they have the financials. What a lovely start to the weekend. Share is up 15% already on Tradegate.
