Significant progress has been achieved since the 19 October Announcement and the Company is pleased to confirm that it intends to launch shortly: * a company voluntary arrangement (the "CVA") in relation to Steinhoff Europe AG ("SEAG"); * a consent solicitation process by the Company (the "Consent Solicitations") in respect of Steinhoff Finance Holding GmbH ("SFHG") issued convertible bonds. A further announcement providing additional detail on the CVA and the Consent Solicitation will be made shortly. The CVA and the Consent Solicitations relate to the restructuring of debt at SEAG and SFHG and are not expected to have any impact on any of the Group's operating businesses, their landlords or trade creditors.

Tx chief. Bit of bs speculation.

My view. Mattresses firm restructuring this week to be completed plus and hopefully, LOCK up by this Tues, I'd suspect the sense will only come out after 5pm, we could have a great week.

But, if tomo morning at 730am or Monday after 5pm, we get an extension, then we going to feel the pain.

Even if all things go well, the share will start dropping again...till Dec fy17 accounts. Here I'm hoping they give us a heads up of a week, will create a nice hype....but after that, it's every man for himself.

Mattress Firm’s plan of reorganization was confirmed by the Delaware Bankruptcy Court and the Steinhoff subsidiary said it expects to emerge from Chapter 11 in the coming days.
Co. expects to fund financing
Mattress Firm CEO Steve Stagner says plan enables co. to strengthen balance sheet & optimize store footprint with about 2,600 stores nationwide
Improved financial & operating position will enable co. to strategically expand in new, existing markets, CEO says
