So far this share has just been going one way..

I think it will start going up again. It will build up momentum towards the R2.90 up to the 26th Oct.

I think the main issue for Steinhoff is that it lacks the audited financial statements (just like all other companies have), with this the institutional investors cannot invest as their internal rules prevent them from investing in a company that has no audited statement, for now most of the buyers and sellers are small investors (mostly short sellers).

Actually without an audited statement a company cannot trade on the JSE as the main trading exchange.

The other legal and financial problems do impair the share price, and while the majority of the companies keep experiencing on an on going basis financial and legal issues, and their share price gets affected by this, I don't see any other company trading at a relatively low price as severe as Steinhoff.

Well put Tom. I also think there are lots of people waiting for the restructure plans. Mainly which assets will be sold a to give a good view of the road ahead

Well glad mf still being forward thinking as well as tidying up their mess...once mf on better footing i believe this is last big hurdle for snh then shares will start slowly increase...but hoping for an October surge

The following are two recent news articles (27 and 28 September 2018), and while the one news article talks about closure and shrinking in business, the other is talking about opening new stores and e-commerce expansion:

On the 26th July the agreement was reached for the LUA and they had 3 months to implement the restructure. So the 26th Oct the 3 months are up and the full implementation must happen.

Well played. Tx
