That's a good observation

Sold out a while ago at 3.60, then got FOMO and bought at 275 (there were opportunities at R2).
Sold again when trading Q3 update came out at 285, bought back in last week at 245 and sold today at 284.

But.. i've only recovered 62% of my capital thus far.

Smart trading Leo! Keep it up! I think you and I are basically walking the same road here.

One thing I can say about SNH is that it hasnt been selfish when it comes to present opportunities. You just need to be tuned in and patient, and to keep an eye on all the event dates.

Yes , I have but like hell a I selling for a loss:)

No...im suggesting you put a sell for 5-10c above your average. Dont forget 10c profit on 150 000-200 000 shares will still get you a nice weekend away with the wife too :-) And then you wait and pray the share price goes down (God has answered many of these prayers before) ,and then buy for your full sum gaining you 20% extra shares (for free). And then you can choose to wait for your R9-R12 dream :-)

Jet,have you considered selling everyrhing at the next decent high and once youre in a small profit or even broken even and then buy back lower. If you buy at 50c lower than your current avg you will get a helluva lot of more shares than you own now which when quantified will put you into solid territory.Fact of the matter is...theres more chance of the share going back to R2.40/R2.50 in the next month than going to R4.So capitalise through a lower purchase price gaining more shares.

Yes but you don't get margin calls that if you don't top up your account the brokers will close you out.

Guys you think a Sens announcement early morning with some good news could see us on a high tmrw? Im pretty certain theres gna be resistance at the R3 mark.

Judging from the good presentation, imo I dont see how there will be negative feedback..

Trader i don't like expensive train fares 😂

Haha when the risk was high and future was unknown people bought because was going up now that there is stability and good prospects people expect the share to drop. My take SNH is now on a slow up trend that will stop at R9 or R12 and can actually get back up to R22 ( yes there will always be pull backs because of short term traders). SNH still operating PEPCO expanding, Mattress Firm getting turned around so  its all sentiment.
