I would have thought SNH go for the liquidation hearing as there seems to be enough evidence that would suggest that no judge would grant that order.....I wonder what it is that SNH are lawyers are scared of?
I don't think they scared just following the correct procedure.
Surely if the act of 2008 superseded the older 1973 act why are the TT lawyers stuck on the 1973 act? SNH NV was incorporated in 2015 so why should the 1973 act apply??? Are they not trying to bend the law for their benifit???
For me what TT is doing is playing with the law because for me the correct way should have been to sue SNH to get their business back and not liquidation that affect lots of existing shareholders and other claimants!!
But my guess is they are scared to loose because no one can guarantee a share price look what happened with the De Bruin case??

Think they rather fight that it can't be heard in SA than to trust our legal system...

This is going to the SCA if Judge refuses then there is a backup and there is already a case number on the SCA. I think TT old boys lawyers are scared of this!!! Everytime the TT fights go to the SCA they loose!!!

I think this will then go over to the Supreme Court of appeal to rule on the jurisdiction for liquidation. I can be wrong

So if the judge rules that SNH can postpone the liquidation hearing. how does that benefit SNH, other than delaying the process a bit longer ?
This will be thrown out at SCA because of jurisdiction!!! I really think if TT old boys have a issue they need to open a court case to reverse their deal and surely liquidation is not the answer!!

still no where closrr
For me there seems to be some panic entering the TT lawyers!!!
According to Duminy the case number SNH got from the SCA for the appeal is for pigeons!!!
"Steinhoff's application to the SCA, he said, was not before a court but "sitting in some pigeonhole".

Interesting other hand as Naas says....lol.. Pep is powering ahead in share priceMy feeling is the tide has turned and they now getting the wind from the front!!! They not yipping too much these days on the media!!!
Its impossible for a party with a claim of Eur100 mil to take on all other with claims of Eur12 bil!!!
The PIC has over 10% of the shares at present and they not going to like to loose all that to the TT guys that got over paid for the business discussed on a race course!!! ( As I heard on the radio show)
For me its just a matter of time when reality will hit home and they will have to make a decision either join the GS or face loosing everything and hope for the share price to recover so that they can make some money provided they still have the shares!!
My thoughts are they are not making any meaningful money out of the 36 Mr. Tekkie stores to sustain the legal battles!!!
From various media articles looks like the legal costs are already running for them over the R65 mil surely this is just the start!!!
We need to be patient and let time solve the problems.
