Bought some fri afternoon...now hope trump says something positive and npn earnings good...can ride it out though don't have sell instantly...but if drops too much will sell..although 300 rand away i can see at least 3750 here....am sure someone will shout me down...but tencent just released game and npn seems have so many positives...lets see ..my risk..also have exx...

Tencent, ecommerce upgrades, narrowing discount, drive TP higher
 
NPN TP upgrade (ZAR5 800, +38%) is driven by Tencent (+23%), ecommerce (+72%) valuation upgrades and narrower discount (20%) on Newco listing. Our Tencent TP upgrade (Buy, PT HKD450, +23%) adds R1 136 (+27%) to our NPN target price. This upgrade is supported by our view that the mobile game revenue growth is likely to accelerate in 2H19e, which, together with strong fintech, cloud and video revenue growth supports an acceleration in Tencent EPS growth (FY19e: +11%, FY20e: +23%).
We upgrade NPN’s unlisted internet assets significantly (R649, +72%) driven by OLX (R309, +73%) and the Food businesses (R119, +110%).Our OLX valuation implies a 12-month rolling EV/Sales multiple of10.9x with very strong 24 month rolling sales growth (+40%). This is well ahead of peer growth (+16%), which trade on an average 12 month rolling EV/Sales multiple of 10.6x. We incorporate Swiggy at the latest funding round valuation (R16.5bn, Feb ‘19) and iFood at ZAR35bn (for the 53.5% stake) or a combined value of R119 per NPN share. Our valuation implies a rolling 12-month EV/Sales multiple of 5.6x (vs global food peers at 5.1x) with 70% rolling 24-month sales growth, well above global food peers (+27%). We also separately value NPN’s Payments (R119, 3.9x FY20e EV/Sales) and B2C (R160, 2.3x EV/Sales) businesses at fairly significant discounts to larger global peers. We increase our Avito valuation to USD5bn (+43%), implying a rolling 12-month EV/EBITDA multiple of 18.5 (vs peers of 17.8x) with solid rolling 24-month EBITDA growth (+19%) ahead of peers (+13%). 
The intention to pursue a Euronext listing reduces our holding company discount from 30% to 20%, which adds R644 (+14%) per NPN share. We continue to believe that NPN will trade at a discount to the sum-of-its-parts, given typical holding company discounts which emerge on similar companies with diverse listed and unlisted equity stakes, which are often non-controlling stakes. Nevertheless, we do believe that management’s argument for improved valuation multiples assigned to its unlisted internet assets is likely to emerge, as a larger universe of global internet investors gain access to these assets via the proposed Euronext listing in the second half of calendar year 2019. 
Proportional FY21e ecommerce EBITDA breakeven drives accelerating core HEPS growth (FY20e: +8%, or +18% ex-Pay TV, FY21e: +33%). We update forecasts to exclude Pay TV from FY20e, which results in subdued FY20e EPS growth (+8%) in line with Tencent FY19e EPS growth (+11%) and lower consolidated revenue and EBITDA in FY20e. We estimate that NPN still trades at a c.28% discount to the sum of its listed holdings (Tencent, mail.ru, MMYT, Delivery Hero), prior to considering its unlisted assets. We expect an acceleration in Tencent 2H19e earnings and the Newco listing to potentially narrow the discount, unlocking further apparent value over time. Buy.

after being up at a high of 3.3% tc now live 1.16% green....still a good day for it i reckon as hk and china futures were deep red at beginning of their day!!

Thanks..enjoy day off...do you think it can still go 3750 by 15th or a stretch...i still believe higher than that in months just curious range of what new highs could be...realise just your opinion
