No, No settling wanted either. The graph attached show that it is time for traders to buy ! Should see more good breakout today, hopefully :D !!

Cheers for this post - or more importantly the graph. I use fin24 for storing my shares but  had no idea that it can generate these kind of graphs. Guess I never hit that "view interactive chart" button before..

This will keep me occupied for the day.

The 20SMA has been support for CML for years and now might just have become resistance.

agreed, it's northbound for CML today and very likely the end of the 50's ...closing my "short"

CML is known for early opening spikes so don't speak too soon.

No. She has to get above the 20SMA before we have an all clear. She might drop back to the bottom BB and hug it forcing it lower. She must get above the 20SMA to reach the top band where she normally is and push it higher slowly but surely. We not out the woods yet.

I think HDB is going to loose twice on his shorts.

Perhaps it bounced off the bottom band? Buyers climbed in and still higher buy volumes that sell volumes.Attached File  Bounce.jpg   184.01KB   42 downloads

Thanks Orca, I hoped you would shed some light on that drop. Now if I can just remember...at this age the memory is not helping!

Me too. That's why I have to write everything down in my CML book.

Not exactly. That was less than expected earnings that caused that drop.

It's not because I think CML will crash, but that scenario is exactly what happened last year in May/June.

My thoughts exactly. Why do you think I have not emigrated yet. I cannot until I get a clearer idea of the outflow and CML's future. I have put off my move due to this for 2 years thinking that it will crash but she keeps going up.

with respect, if we see a steady climb to R70 in the next few weeks my money would be on a "long" position, target-R80  SA market still has a lot ahead of it so this "call" might change due to EM sell off, ie. yesterday's bloodbath...wouldn't advocate taking a position this early until we have a clearer idea with regards to how much foreign outflow SA will see. this dynamic will make or break CML future performance imo.

Going to put my head on the block here (once again) and make a (not so) wild prediction: CML will hit a low of around 52.5 early to middle August, when it's dropped 20% from a high of around 65.3 and when it should be about 2% from it weekly MA50. Let's see...

Look at the bounce off the bottom Bollinger Band. If she rises through the 20SMA, then the top Bollinger band becomes the target. The Stochastic also shows an uptrend from the oversold area.Attached File  BB.jpg   233.02KB   55 downloads

the fundamentals of CML where never in question really..even on the slide down, fund managers/private investors shorting them like myself knew their would be an uptick/reversal point

I know, that's why I follow what you say very closely! hehe
