Patience boy, the 3 whales are grouping so they can breach together in a fast and surprising blow off top, maybe next week or the one after or the one after that, but you will know it when you see it

and MACD of first graph is clear story (having trouble  relating to second graph though as too small ) I must go find seasonal chart covering of the easter weekend 

-- also chance that we fall less hard than SPX and DJI (unless e.g.  serious downgrade by rating agency etc)

Very important to follow the chart you are trading as we are not insink with the US, not even to mention the trufircation going on with them with the Nasdaq leading this correction, but the others will soon follow suite!

 

If we look at the NYSE 52 week highs we see the deteriorating market breadth that is a mirror for losing internal market momentum that can also be seen in other technical indicators, VIX has also made new highs together with the SPX new high that is a warning!

 

On the graph attached you can see the SPX weekly macd is very bearish so after this final leg up (don't know if the US will make new highs due to the nasty weekly candle made last friday) they will come down hard!

 

For the TOP40 the charts indicate new highs into end next week (44700-45100 TOP40F?), trends tend to run until a holiday so would fit in running up into the Easter holiday, earnings season should keep the indexes up but after watch down below for the cycle bear to begin!!

is that TP still 45k you think before the envisaged big fall? reasonable probability of shert term fail at 1868ish S&P resistance (testing the dirt waters between 1830-1845) before final 1900++ an us 45kish ? your view appreciated -(

I attached the 60min timeframe, you can see why the 43400ish TOP40F is strong support!

 

This setup just does not look bearish to me and with positive divergence,earnings season coming and US way oversold I am still holding my longs!

 

After this final leg up the top should be closing in.....

someone here laughed once when I intimated that weirdly the ALSI open stimulates much US and UK futures movements...and sometimes also provokes a daily trend...

actually I have spent muento time with metaphysics....the vibration, the universal song (one song) octave is rising not falling...

despair is relative...and we are moving higher not lower in octave...but the  controllers are  turning up the hate volume trying to ensare humanity into relegaton...so what we are witnessing is a perceived falling to the lower frequencies...but these the inequitous frequencies do not match the  higher octaves being ushered in...hence the purging will accelerate and be perceived by some as negative..and the elnightened as positive...

 

but novelty will return.

agreed BonzoD.. yup 1680 a target. what is evident though..is if gold goes there....what are the drivers and the eventual outcome. gold providing a ballast implies far more serious implications than just upside targets....there is much talk of meltup as the world struggles for obviation and understanding of the financial system dilemma people will be running around looking for stale bread and discovering secrets of metaphysics and levitation (credit graphic to economist unfortunately)

Past 40 yrs, interesting that April bottoms historically on April 14, then rallies hard.

 

 

Whereas past 10 years April bottoms on April 15, then rallies.
