Yes . As is the case nothing happens like everyone expects it to happen. With all the posts yesterday i was feeling sorry for myself not having a position especially a short position. But come monday no black swan no rapid sell off. As i said last week Syria war a slight drop etc, when this noise softens we will just shoot up again. Well that is my 2c very risky trading atm.

The Russian government needs the revenue from gas as much as Europe need the gas from Russia. Putin can win the fight (Crimea) but will lose the war (economic stability via Gazprom).

 

S, if you think SA can achieve more economic stability by doing business with China and Russia, think again.

They want access to our raw resources, nothing else. The Russians have stuffed the total Palladium market by stockpiling and dumping, since 1961.

Do you think the Chinese will buy our T-shirts? Our cars, our soft commodities? Think again.

 

The good old republic of SA exported more than 6 Million tons of raw Chrome to China. The calls for a R100/ton levy is ignored very conveniently - because the ANC don't want to p!iss of our Chinese comrades.

I'm sure it would be a lot better if SA was more communistic. I mean, just look at how well the citizens in Russia, China and Zimbabwe are treated.

It's all about business. Gazprom vs Exxon/Shell (Russia vs US/UK)

All the west want is to control countries in order to make themselves rich. The US and Britain are good at it.
It's all about the oil and gas in Crimea. Exxon Mobil ad Shell want the gas fields in Crimea waters.
The western government are on the payroll of these companies. Just like Zuma is on the payroll of the Platinum mines.
Western domination must be stopped, we need people like Malema, Putin and Mugabe.

Russia platinum and palladuim are nationalized, that's the only way you can stop the greedy west from trying to control your country.
Our strategic mines should also be nationalized. Nationalization does not mean the white people should go. It just means the greedy white people must f8ck off.

When the west don't get what they want, they play the game of sanctions.
