You can get inputs/advice from others but in the end you and your strategy (comes over time) is the holy grail of trading...will never be successful if you follow others...just my 2c as always!

I agree completely...and comes with many losses...most important learning is money management...

Attending the Sharenet evening on Tuesday; will hear what they've got to say and then decide. BTW, are you talking from experience? Does it work for you? "Success rate"?

Until we get he HDB Trading System, just go and buy yourself the PowerStocks Ultra subscription, if you are looking for a proven trading strategy with real-time triggers.

HDB, can you please explain again how you work this out? I know you've done this before, but I just can't find the post.

From your perspective, Lekkerry is faceless and to a degree nameless, so any opinions expressed are just that, opinions from someone on the Internet  :D

ignore that post...lots of changesand fine tuning done since then...Still on  a test phase and today showed it did not work on opening as I forecasted! So back to drawing board!!

Thanks. A pity; was still insightful. Long trades this morning will work out later today though, I think, so no harm done. :) Maybe the arbitrage traders can help??

Sit on your hands at opening..  Dont see any significant move,,,Wait for FTSE to open and give direction!! Bias still to slight upside though but pound strengthening .

I have a target of 43010 at about 8.45am but too risky and not trading it as risk reward to go into a trade now is too low!!

Well done HDB!!! :) You were dead right with your analysis!!!!

I guess Putin did not fire.

Up we go, 44000 here we come.

This will be a good short later in April or May

or maybe 45000 can be the ceiling

S**t! You're good S, especially or the long haul hits! Time and again...You front running that ALSI or what? Into the vacuum of no previous prices I go!

Well played HDB! I am also long and have a FTSE binary to close at one easily safe. Have a buy on J200 to stay above 42750 at close. Will look for more buys.

But in my opinion the main reason all indices are pumping up today is because the Russians have withdrawn... See the charts around 8h00...

J200 binaries are closed for trading - mine worked well.... FTSE bought to stay above 6750 at 17h00 for 81.5 points, above 6780 at their close for 83 points. Both looking good.

Think US might still have some upside left until 20h00. Will then turn. Got buys for Dow to stay above 16290 (76.4 points) and 16310 (77.1 points) respectively by 20h00.
