Breakout would be confirmed if the market can hold over 47K. It wouldn't turn me bullish but I would close out my shorts and hunt for a better level to re-enter.
maybe Zuma will resign...a bear can dream

Definitely not bullish. Holding short until it breaks out of the weekly downtrend. If it doesn't still hunting for those levels below 40K.
Just feeling the bearish strain from all the back and forth. Happens from time to time.

Now that you have been turned into Mostlyabull i think it is time to be bearish

Bears dead in the water here with the Rand melt. No end in sight here it seems

Guess they first putting it out there for the media and public to soak it up... then when topic is completely exhausted and nothing further ot new to say... the announcement becomes a non event
And we thought he's not sharp
He most certainly is not. Let's see what happens. The whole situation is very confusing and seems to be setting up the potential volatility that can be a trap for both bulls and bears.

Any idea as to why they wouldn't have fired him already. Why would they delay it if it was a power play?

Thanks for the heads up, but whether he has resigned or was fired i think it has been priced in already. US futures are now read hopefully they pull us down with them
Also worried about oil. Maybe the resources can start a rally soon. They heavy oversold for the last month and a half now.

Careful. There's rumors Gordhan has resigned.

Wonder if JZ 783 speculates thru his baddies...
Every time this happens I start wondering about that. There so many explanations about why he would do something so illogical. That is the most logical. I really don't see him firing Gordon so why else would he do this?
