yeah...i closed my shorts at 200 so with $ now at 11 thats scary....We could go to 11.50 in a matter of days if this level doesnt move  back down to 10.85 range. Just think what it will cost at the pumps in two months!!!  Weird thing is SP500 down 1.3% but IG currently only down 50 pips off J200? Thats just wack..I think we will move down much lower during the night with the j200 opening lower at 42100 tomorrow..if 42000 breaks we go down to 41800? sound reasonable?

If S&P is down 1.1 % and ZAR/USD is weaker by 1.5%, then our market is still relatively "cheap" in USD terms. We might drop to 42100 but will have to wait and see if any further selling ensues...

Have no idea P. Probably the PM figures of China and US. Could be the start of the pullback which we're all expecting. I just trade what I see. will close some of my trades in the morning or later and go long.. will see a recovery tomorrow.

So C, your prediction for tomorrow? Maybe I can give it a go. ZAR over 11 now so up up and away. Dont forget the strikes will help us up just a bit more. Oh and don't forget that when the entire world is red by 1% we will run up a 1000pips.

If SP closes at lets say -1.1 we should gap down 300-400pips so you are in line. I think we will then test 41700, but this could all happen so quickly and turn around.

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

Those of you trading Dow an SP500, whats going on? Is this serious cause all support levels seem to be giving in?

Thanks for the quick binary lesson F; will study it a bit more tonight. Just did a calculation of all my SA40 trades over the past month and what a surprise, I'm up! Can't believe it, but that's excluding my open short trade, off course.

You welcome bbw. Made some cash on them this pm.

I am just glad the US reacted "normally" this arvie. Made a good haul/recovery on FtSE binaries for the 17h00 close and the UK market close at 18h30.

Now to work the US. Just got a feeling the Yanks will find buyers at these levels and go up from here....
Great stuff jb. Missed out on a big score by 13 points on alsi.

My international acc looking very good. Just took a 50 point knock on Dow. Short on ftse ans snp. Oh and down 150 on alsi now. But still green for the day.

Awesome! I still have a sell on Dow for the 20h00 and at their close. Enough space for them to recover a tad.

Considering a buy though in anticipation of a slight US climb or as a hedge

I think the SA40 is a better rand-hedge than buying dollars directly...?

Combination. See my earlier post

Thanks.  Thing is , if you trade S&P or anything like that you can trust what you see.  But I don't trust what I see on the ALSI anymore, so red is not red and green not green. rather confused.
