If this secret army is not going to arrive, I am putting a contract out on you ;)

Will that be a long or short contract?

Even if the US or FTSE makes a new high keep your shorts on ALSI, they are just putting in their final touches before they start tanking next week!

The bears are sending a secret army on ships and will arrive here next Tuesday!

As I said this is wave B up on ALSI and Wave C should commence next week!

I see max 41300 on the futures, she might overshoot a bit into Monday!

If you trade US or FTSE ask S! ;)

How do we interpret the unemployment rate. If it is lower than 7%. will markets go up or down? This QE works so differently. I don't think anyone understands the market anymore. My take a good number below 7% will send the market down but who knows. I think its best to sit it out and watch the others get burnt

A, quick question. Seems as if the US are gunning for new highs again and FTSE doing well too.  If the US does make a new high, do you think we will resume and uptrend or do we have to reach 400 first before running up? Not much worried as we disconnected from world markets atm, but just concerned if they do make it andd hold, would our investors not have the same hopes next week?

If dow climbs tonight from here, then shorts are in trouble.

All markets are up.

I would love to say it's a pump and dump. With NFP anything can happen.

It's time to separate the man from the boys.

Pick a trade long or short.

The charts and  indicators don't work today.

I'm buying, if it dips i will buy more.

Just put a stop at yesterdays low.

If your stop gets hit don't worry,  Santa Rally came so that we can make the easy money.

You can give give a little back, but not all of it. Days like these are good for those who have beaten the market.

Buy Buy Buy

Believe in the bull

Thank you, S. However, the previous time I believed in the bull, just before going away for a week, I lost almost half my account; same again this week. I can keep open a short position indefinitely, but R2000 overnight interest on a long position, quickly erodes away all possible profits. I'll keep open my shorts, sell the rallies, and only trade small long positions.

Is this current movement in world markets a case of buy the rumour, sell the fact? Time will tell...

The longer term trend has been up up up. So yes if the Dow keeps going then so will we and this would only have been a small correction. Shorts could be sweating once again.

Normally with such a turnaround and especially on a friday at 10:00 it signals the end of a wave (A) so wave B up should have commenced, usually it runs until Monday where-after the next wave C down should start!

Can be wrong but looks like mr market is expecting a good jobs report!

Just sell the rallies!

Is the FTSE on drugs? Up more than 1%. Its unlike FTSE. Adding to shorts.

Not convinced about Alsi's upward movement. If I see a dip after NFP, depending on US markets, I will go long afterhours. But for now it is short.
