AJS, did you start your studies @ RAU?
Nope, Pukke (Potch/NWU). Finished 8 exams there and did the rest while working.

Well, I am one away from qualifying... It has been a long and tough road. And I am not trading ALSI for time being (well, the past year at least).
*edit*, Oh and I don't think I am that stereotypical

Are any of you an actuary?
I doubt that "type" will trade ALSI <- lekker generalization, I know .

har har! Didn't want to ask THAT!
I just don't see how one can safely manage risk with such a fluid thing as indices. At best, it (actuarial science) gives a (comfortable) degree of certainty. Was just my random thought for this afternoon.
L, you can actually safely manage your risk with options. Only thing with Alsi is we only have daily...

Hi L. Not yet a fully qualified actuary, but I'm a student actuary (board exams)!
And yea, before you even ask...they don't teach any of the trading stuff that side...
From your perspective, Lekkerry is faceless and to a degree nameless, so any opinions expressed are just that, opinions from someone on the Internet

Might be a case of mistaken identity, but 1h, 15m and 1m is awakening the bull in me! Nice trend-line on 1m established. Buy-in when touching the trend-line.
Ride it while it lasts.

Lol... Thanks ChubbyIm going to invite you for a beer..We can swap trading horror stories! I have a lot of them!
Right now I need more than a couple of beers.
Trading by emotion and/or expectation is a pocket emptying certainty.

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.
