That's a demand zone. Most traders are pulling the trigger there.

Although we might dip on US open. Those with deep accounts are buying here, just in case they miss the bus ;)  ;)

Here is a FTSE scenario i found from the internet, i would think it will apply to Top40 too

http://www.ftsedaytr...prediction9.png

When US opens, expect a dip. That should be the chance for a long position for those who missed the longs.

Those who trade FTSE,DAX,NASDAQ must also buy the dip on US open.

We might get some Yellen volitility, dont mind about that, just keep buying.

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

Sept high (40350ish futures) will act as support...looks like she wants to go and touch it before marching north again...

I am adding longs here!

A

Yellen is still a risk for both longs and shorts. I must say those with the trend will be safer.

The trend on the 30min is down. But on the Daily it's upwards. Higher timeframes are the true indicators of what is happening in the market

Maybe we might have to 13h00-14h30 rally today, since most stocks are green.

Now we have to wait for FTSE to open at 10h00, then the party gets going.

Tencent is up 4% today.

I have to many long positions if i close all of them now. I would have made more than 1000 points without even reaching 41 000 yet.

The bulls are back in town.

Skep tewyl dit reen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Viva La Bull :P  :P  :P  :P  :P

Naspers is following Tencent, its up 4% already.

I can't see the market dropping with Naspers at 4%

All Top 10 stocks on FTSE are green.

Royal Dutch Shell

HSBC

BP

Vodafone Group

GlaxoSmithKline

British American Tobacco

SABMiller

Diageo

Rio Tinto Group

BHP Billiton

Looks like the whole world is green.

Only Yellen can drop us now. But i don't think we will drop before S&P hits 1800

We might have a slight drop on US open, but keep buying.

S&P 1800 will come. 20 points for S&P is around 300-500points on the top40. Once the market targets a number, it usually comes.

Same with Naspers R1000.

Same with gold $1000, markets gravitate to their round numbers before deciding to turn back.

thanks  S-

on NPN:- NPN is overwheImingly Tencent - its Africa expansion is on track - but  see Tencents lack lustre performance of it last few weeks as firstly the talk in China about opening up and secondly its perceived over valuation - Firstly the main thing going for Tencent is not only that it  appears a well run business but mainly bec it has a political moat around it from real competition bec foreign websites are not accessed freely due to political fears of the Com party. Those fears of breaking its stronghold was laid to rest last weekend when it appeared the big reforms wont be political (what were the people thinking?) - Secondly the big boss of Tencent said he found the valuations scarily ( that amounts to treason on stock holders in my books) and just last night tencent comes ot with better than expected earnings - so Yes to the R1000 rand view on current  up cycle to 4200 thin air target for T40

Find an attachment of the S&P chart.

Will still have room for more upside. I see some money moving from the bond market and moving into stocks.

Thanks S and Chubby for views - maybe just go Long T40Fs and go 'fishing' - would be nice but actually going to Cape over Dec - need to dental floss the mind - a bit early to see if it will be a high Dec futures close out week and if to renew them for upside in January
