Well then I am hoping for a failed day. Or are you talking futures?

The irony of today, it is a whopper of a day (eaking out what, 300 or 400 points), but if it doesn't close above 35800, it will almost feel like a subdued or failed day.

Must admit Plasma, I can appreciate this approach. You target lesser amount of points (less risky ? ? ... ?), but in maximising the ZAR return / gain , you gooi the number of contracts.

Concur L, but in my instance, I would want to very very confident that it is a high probability trade, because, stating the obvious, it if swings against you, Ouch!

Your risk to reward is 1:1. You need this to be at least 1:2.

Yea again.

Had issues setting my trigger so just killed the whole trade at 35873. Dam OST issues.


Appreciate the feedback guys. Tired of loosing money so decided to put my trades up for public scrutiny.

PS: Gold just jumped almost 1% in last hour or so ...

 

closed at 20 points in profit, didn't breach support at 35800

Not much. I work on another method of risk. Have an amount to use for trading but only keep 10% of that on the actual platform. Then I only use 5% to actually trade. So I am still within that 5% allowed. But now she going up again....

I think she already made her peak for today, I am keeping my 800 position open at this stage.

Agreed. However, I was proved very wrong yesterday.... Facts: DAX retracted by 0.2% in the last 30 minutes. US futures are flat with S&P dipping in some sparberry. I still feel US will drop and we will only be lower today to close. Not a BWE or significant dive but a drop to around 35550-35600 imo.

That will take care of hmmm, none of my 4 remaining shorts. Need to go down to 430, then 3 will be gone. The first one is so far away from reality, it is just a distant star.....feeling the radiation though.
