Me thinks I had a similar comment about a 1000 points higher (from where ALSI at now), earlier this year.
This market is out of its mind ....

. absmuller, tell me, why do you think ALSI is tracking the German market of late? My point being, it isn't. The news will most probably cause a spike and then back to ALSI business. Anyway, let us see. What time is the news due again?
The Germans have beaten estimates regularly and yesterday they did it again with their factory orders. I think they will beat estimates again. If so market will continue run but if they disappoint it will drop like a rock... Bad news reaction has been more accentuated of late

Yep..This could be what takes the market lower or sustain the run..Any punts out there on what the data would look like?

This is purely an opinion and not fact nor advice, but the Germany (updated) news might only produce a wild swing up or down, after which ALSI will continue to grind higher today.

I think this run is on its last legs...Big move up today yes but the trading volumes today on j200 so far is very slim so dont be fooled. Big resistance on IG right now and at 35800. US due for some profit taking as well...You do the maths

We are climbing, I think, because of foreign money yet again. Lot of hype around investing in Africa this week, could be because of the event tomorrow in Cape Town.
Cant see us coming down today.

Other big resistance comes in at 35905ish (forexpros) that I believe won't break, not today!

I just don't think we will reach 35800 today. In fact, imo we will retract from here because US will drop today. Europe is up slightly but not convincingly. I think the big jump this morning so far is only to make what we lost yesterday after 4. US climbed last night to new highs ad we needed to catch up. But I have been proven wrong a lot before and yesterday nipped me a little!
Morning Boys, have a bit of a hangover - damn you Johnny!!! But ya I am also in on 800 Sell with 10k 10%.
