Yup H'nR, sitting on the sideline for now seems safer. But safe doesn't add to one's ALSI point-tally!
I am however rather sitting out and seeing what is transpiring for now. ALSI ALWAYS gives opportunities to cash-in!
Who said be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy. Well I am fearful and are to scared to buy anything
From your perspective, Lekkerry is faceless and to a degree nameless, so any opinions expressed are just that, opinions from someone on the Internet

The mark of a professional, however, sounds like this:
It is my fault. I traded this position too large for my account size.
It is my fault. I didn’t stick to my own risk parameters.

Ok, first things first.... yeah, the time for shorts are nearing!
Ok, Friday was a play-out for my interim formation / staging. I am not sure, but it seems my next stop is at least 33200 (J200). I would like to see how today plays-out though before entering a Sell possi A medium-term consideration, one just needs to see how earnings season will play-out. I think ALSI might be more prone to following downside within the US than any upside following.

I took a long position @ 34000.
Totally against my trading strategy,
but I cant help feel this was an exaggerated move,
and we have bounced twice before from this level.
Now I wont have a nice weekend and be looking @ my phone all weekend long.
Ai.
I knew this was going to be a bad idea.
Stick to your rules man!

BHP in Australia was down around 4.5% - 5% earlier... recovery on the way, now down around 2.65%... not bad given it was only down 0.15% on Friday

only thing to help our resources today are the weaker rand, Gold's 200 dma @ $1443 and that we fell sharply on last week especially Friday... may be some panic early.... but hoping for some traction
See NZ top 50 is green. I would LIKE if 33750 remains as support and that we will bounce for the 4th time from that level if we go down that far. IGM already about .3% down.

Ya ya rub it in. :-)I saw the Stormers victory a lot like a stubborn trader persistently going short in a bull market and continually getting stopped out.Eventually he'd take profit on a little pullback though (What was that, 2nd win in 6 I think ? ) but begin to lose again as soon as the trend recommenced.Just kidding. Yes, I am sore, but well done Stormers. In fact I'd be happy for them to win week after week, so long as I made money on the Top40 week after week. How's that for a trade off ?

Sorry Pipman I know you were on a high on Friday - but success with a long does not translate to shark performance ....
