Be careful. I don't like the fact that the $ is starting to sneak up to the R9/$ mark (gained 4c since 4am this morning).

Long (J200) @ 34166. Fundamentals seems green. A tad risky this early, as I would prefer to see what market open does (at 09:00). Target +- 150 points.

That will make it roughly 0.9% up from yesterday

The mark of a professional, however, sounds like this:

         It is my fault.  I traded this position too large for my account size.

         It is my fault.  I didn’t stick to my own risk parameters.

Me thinks BHP & RIO is up due to

By Allison Martell

(Reuters) - Alcoa Inc (AA.N), the largest U.S. aluminum producer, reported a higher quarterly profit on Monday thanks in part to strength at its raw materials segment, but lower-than-expected revenue and an uncertain outlook dragged down the company's share price.

Going long in the morning for the following reasons :

BHP up 1.44% and RIO up 1.37% in AUS good for our commodities

Aus market up 1.33%

Ten Cents up 2.65%  good for Naspers

Positive markets in EastHSeng up 1% ets

Ang, MTN,Std Bank, Old Mutual and gold stock all due for a price increase which is part of top 10 in SA40 Index.

Stochastic oversold on weekly and daily

Seems like Zoner is still waiting for a big bounce. I am going to wait until 0830 to see whether IG markets is on course or whether there is going to be fluctuations. Keeping to my rule, do not trade the expectation. Damn it is difficult, hey Pipman......impulsive compulsive obsessive ......... :)

Dead cat bounce? You mean with a rocket strapped to it's back!

Seems there is an expectation that we will open up higher. IG Markets already roughly 0.5% up. Too late to catch the bus?

It is droopy today and where are these two gents now-a-days after the new SC being launched?

Apologies, let me rephrase:  Sometimes it is more profitable to divert from initial trading strategy and frequently change direction with consecutive trades, going in exact opposite direction.

As suggested, now back to making money.
