Friday is 1st September. US dollar index very near to trend change target viz:  https://wavecount.blogspot.co.za/

Rand trend to weaker is due to accelerate. Many similar charts showing basing or underway of wave 3 pointing to overdue acceleration of price action, including JSE indices. and resources. August books need closing this week. Watch out.

Thanks Snippit.

But the VIX has hardly moved with this Harvey disaster and Korean thing, so presume buy the dip as usual .also the Yanks want a weaker USD which is good for their big companies so until the FED actually raises rates more of the same.

Agree that if the Rand starts weakening that should be good for the miners randhedges etc,

That is quite a gap to close for today but Tencent will no doubt come to the rescue

Take note that the Forex dollar is falling,  and true to its commodity nature Gold is climbing (plus maybe some nerves about valuations in equities)

However the dollar is falling also because traders don't believe the FED will increase rates anytime soon..

Look at how the ZAR is strengthening.

Banks and financials should like this but not the Randhedges.

Appreciate your views and its affect on our ALSI on this.

You are wrong, Crypto is the future. dont be deluded. the banking system is failing us... crypto will be the answer. If there is a crash like you say, it will bounce back since nobody will stop crypto!

Bitcoin has the popularity that's all. there are far better coins than bitcoin available, the more popularity they receive the higher the market cap will climb.

BTC is a bubble. The market is being set up for the classic pump-n-dump. Many tears will be shed soon. How will the trillions of dollars worth of transactions be accommodated by cryptos when there's a finite supply. A max of 21 million BTC? The same problem that gold has. All we need is responsible central banks but history has shown they will always resort to printing money - it's just human nature.

The bounce from daily channel in sync for JSE T40 futures and SWIX so the accumulation of shorts is a trading mandatory.

Contrarian noises are counterparty howlings.

Keep in Mind the way the blockchain is setup all BTC will only be mined by 2140. The internet is pushing for regulation so there will always be a place for a crypto currency thats decentralised.

Morning All

I would like to put together a team to trade together
Sharing costs and the profit we make
There currently a few of us who have been trading as individuals and I would like to expand this into a dedicated near term trading group

We will start using a demo account once we have our rules and approach confirmed and we making money will then discuss the way forward

Please contact me on this group
Or
Whatsapp 0825628225
Or
Give me a call on the above number if you have any suggestions?

Looking forward to your comments!

Cheers

Barry

BTC does well, because it trades parallel to the system. Clearly should Central Banks overplay their hand in the long run, society hopes to fall back on Cryptos. So long as there is a system for payments, everyone is ok, not so?

Great post. I especially liked the part about capitalism being hijacked. Very apt. The idiotic masses don't care. As long as the fools get distracted by their new iPhones and latest Game of Thrones episodes the elite will keep robbing them. When they wake up eventually there won't be much left. Amazing how easy it is to manipulate millions of people. It's been going on for centuries.

That's it for me. I'm throwing in the towel. The central bank scum won't let these markets fall. This charade will carry on another few years. The first quarter of this year alone they bought 1.5 trillion in "assets". The Japanese bond market has all but come to a standstill because only the BOJ is buying. There's no markets left anymore. Gonna close out on the oversold drop and sit out for a while.

Alsi making new highs. Totally insane. Probably another boost with interest rate cut soon.
