USD/ZAR needs a return of the blues, something like this...

(to support the upcoming wave 5 of wave 5 of wave 3 on the index)

In which case high five

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

All good thanks, I have not been able to trade that often, but starting to get back into it now.

I think we will be red tomorrow only because I think Ftse and US will be red tomorrow and drag us with them. ZAR should buffer the drop a bit, but should not keep us up.

This is honestly just a gut feeling I have, so lets see what happens tomorrow.

like i said, when you show up i need to be careful... :)

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

J - how goes? Like i have said many times when you pop up the red tide is with us :)

either way, this will only happen if the ZAR keeps on moving in favour of a RED day and from what I can see this was overdone a bit...

I am leaning towards your thinking G, someone was busy manipulating GBP/ZAR by strengthening the ZAR till 4:45pm when it started rate started picking up again from around 17.80 and now it is at 17.83 and i checked the sentiment on IG there were a lot of buys from around 5:00pm when Top40F was around 46,410. Sentiment improved to from around 59% long to 62% long.

But once i exit these longs i will rather short the rallies

you can also try playing both sides of the fence, after a drop give the market about 500 points in the long direction, then you are in a position to risk (and I stress risk) having both long and shorts in play, with the assumption that the market will return to that point at some time in the future, if you do it right you can play a contract for a much longer period, say a week and not have to worry so much about the little drops. you do need to be cartful that you don't keep the short if the market goes up fast, I would say if the market has moved more than 12000 points from the place you bought it it will not get back down there in the near future, if you are careful and the market is not in a straight bull run and going up and down like it is now you can make quite a bit of money and spread the risk, every now and again it does come back and bite you though so be cautious.

Toe dipped, now for the plunge. Still 400 points avaiable down there, but wave 5 gonna take it all back 7 times before bears get some honey again, but that honey will be delivered by road tanker.

Only 2 indices in red on investing.com, JSE and Hungary. But i guess the hike in interest rates caused the strengthening of the ZAR and that is why we are seeing all this weakness on our market.

On the weekly chart the MACD is telling me that danger lies ahead, proceed with caution!

In my view no big deal
