Hi Casenova,

Which system are you using? Can you post a link so that i can check it out?

Yes, please. IGs Automated Trading is still not available in SA, only the Realtime ProBackTest but it is still an manual trade.

I have now graduated to an automatic trading system. It is going good so far. Must say, its a lot less stress. Will keep you up to date as profits or losses mounts. Equity curve looking promising.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Rejoicing shorts need to keep in mind its Friday. Don't let your profits get eaten up by the strong probability of short covering later this afternoon.

Guiding charts, these are important here,

I see sometimes ALSI appears to lead, but never for very long.

I will also keep my longs but i wont be greedy when i see them in the green. I use GT247.com for most of my trading and they followed me on Twitter, i am pretty sure they are lurking around hoping i will get scared of being long and close my trades for a loss, well i am sorry guys i will keep my longs till the Bulls come back home

I am leaning towards your thinking G, someone was busy manipulating GBP/ZAR by strengthening the ZAR till 4:45pm when it started rate started picking up again from around 17.80 and now it is at 17.83 and i checked the sentiment on IG there were a lot of buys from around 5:00pm when Top40F was around 46,410. Sentiment improved to from around 59% long to 62% long. But once i exit these longs i will rather short the rallies
you can also try playing both sides of the fence, after a drop give the market about 500 points in the long direction, then you are in a position to risk (and I stress risk) having both long and shorts in play, with the assumption that the market will return to that point at some time in the future, if you do it right you can play a contract for a much longer period, say a week and not have to worry so much about the little drops. you do need to be cartful that you don't keep the short if the market goes up fast, I would say if the market has moved more than 12000 points from the place you bought it it will not get back down there in the near future, if you are careful and the market is not in a straight bull run and going up and down like it is now you can make quite a bit of money and spread the risk, every now and again it does come back and bite you though so be cautious. G
Thanks G, i will try to keep one account for long term trades and scalp on the other account. GBP/ZAR now at R17.88 and positive divergence on the hourly chart so i think forex will save us tomorrow

Bear attack tomorrow afternoon

maybe tonight too much weakness

Was not a good day....made some mistakes due to being to optimistic about a good bull run in the afternoon....result....a red long of about 190 pips at the moment in addition to 250 pip loss during the day. If US close in the green, will keep and reevaluate tomorrow morning.

The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.  :)
