46250 - 46300 is where my target is for close-out.

Aus up 1.5%. Resources flying.

Target was met. Now to see what happens.. To short now is just too easy.. But my finger is twitching!

Great forum this but one word of caution.

Nobody can predict the market and one should be very careful about making 'predictions'.

One can think that something may/might happen but nobody can never know what the market is going to do and/or at any specific time or date.

Whether one likes it or not predictions by the 'gurus' can be very convincing and can influence some to follow.

Examples can be given but would serve no purpose at this time.

Some who have been strong on this are no longer with us.

We all use many tools to try and trade to beat the beast but there is no foolproof way.

Even with Elliot there is always another 'hidden' leg somewhere that is lurking to mess it all up.

Anyway just my view and not aimed at anybody specific so all just continue with the good work and lets hope for the big drop to materialise at some stage and for us to all ride it to some good profits.

We are all here to learn, guys that make predictions will either be right or wrong proven by mr market, and reason why some of the strong members have gone due to it!

Interesting how one can post and give your views but each trader follows his own head, unfortunately the journey can only be taken alone en best learn out of losing money and through experience!

All my posts is just my view and trying to figure this beast out, maybe more members like yourself should start posting charts and express views otherwise what is the purpose??

A

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

What you can’t afford to do is throw away your capital on suboptimal trades. If you do, you will be too debilitated to trade when the right position comes along. Even if you put the trade on, it will be relatively small because your capital will have been depleted by the other trades. - Richard Dennis

When you have a position, you put it on for a reason, and you’ve got to keep it until the reason no longer exists. Don’t take profits just for the sake of taking profits. You have to have a strategy to trade, know how it works and follow through on it. - Richard Dennis

So, we broken up out of the wedge.....danced on the upper line and now heading up....this is what is driving us at the moment and these things tend to end with an impulsive blast up!Stay tuned...

Only when the uptrend line breaks the bears will be here!

Nice graph of a possible roadmap attached for the SPX!

You can see the SPX is also busy with a wedge and has broken out up, so once it tops it too should return to where the wedge originated, being 1737 latter part of this year!Their monthly bollingerband is around 2000 so might overshoot.....

Spot the pattern and play it accordingly! But not always that easy...

Traders say a top can only happen when all the bears are dead. Ive always wondered how that can possibly happen. Well I'm seeing it today.

Yip, this is euphoria buying indeed and also heard at the end of a bullrun the market gets silly, now silly is what I am seeing, ignoring any valid divergence signals and candles and just moving/grinding up!!

But...when this bullparty ends, and it will with QE coming to an end, the investor sentiment at a 9 year high and VIX 7 year low as stated before markets tend to retrace to the start of the pattern, so we are looking at a possible 39600ish target for that low in Oct, but where she is going to top don't ask me!
