I am sitting on the sidelines to start. We are up a lot and the rand has got stronger. There is a decent chance for a pullback and then go up again. Can't believe I am looking to go long at 45900.

The rand strengthened significantly to the pound and dollar lastnight, so unless the rand slides this morning most of the dual listed securities should be under pressure, so not so sure about this run away train. Difficult to call.

Might gap up and retrace to test pivot? Then again, it is futures close-out so we might still see some funny action, although I think the majority was done already.

Ai...the one thing I must get right is to eliminate days like today....was up 89 pips and then giving back 346 pips with two longs, which were both in the green at some stage....damn.

Hey P

Can't help but think that I've seen similar posts like this one from you in the past...

Do you go into a trade with targets and stop losses in mind? And when the stops are hit, do you get out immediately?

For instance: If you had a S/L of 173 pips per long (346/2), R:R of 1:2 means that your target would have been +346 pips for each long..

Was that the case? If not, you might want to revise your strategy... otherwise you are gambling... and your account is going to be cleared...

If this was planned and you only risked 1-2% of your account, I apologise for my remarks.. ;)

K

Hey K

Yes....we have had this conversation before! Me blowing an account....never ever! ;)

Nope...no gambling....but I am not applying the risk reward ratio so strictly. I am prepared to take a downward swing of between 100 to 200 pips due to market volatility. However, then my assessment of the market structure at that point must support the expectation of a swing up with profit.

Today I should not have taken the 2nd long....I was further at fault to cling to my bullish bias....

On the positive side, these occurrences are happening less often......on my journey to become consistency profitable...

Happy trading :)

Sorry about being banned and warning for upsetting HDB.

Awfully Sorry HDB.

But seeing as you are the controller of this site,

Why are there so many of you trying to to dupe the rest of us?

Is this sort of behaviour not illegal?

If not I think it should be be, and therefor I will advise the appropriate authorities to commence their investigations.

And you think you are a smart ass!!!

I am the authority bluebell.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.
