Hi all

 

I am relatively new to CFD trading and have been testing out CFD trading on the demo IG trading platform.

 

I have also been reading the comments posted on these forums for the past few months and have found these very interesting and beneficial to the learning curve.

 

Does anyone know of alternate platforms that allows CFD trading on the SATop40 cash index or is this offered only by IG?

 

Any advise on this will be greatly appreciated.

IG offer the 2 rand option, you will not get rich but you will be able to learn, I found a big differerance between DEMO money and REAL money, you head gets in the way when you use real money.

Tea cup pattern forming up on 10 minute. Offloaded 1 short for small, almost break-even, profit. Holding the rest.

So looks like the bulls are still dancing?

What was really bothering me was there was no momentum to the upside.

Now i am just going to ride this baby.

Think we might go for today's low again tomorrow but rise next week for new highs..IMO!

skipping along S1..if breaks stops will be hit at 50p from entry..if not target 47000

So here is a question, when do you guys trade WITH the trend vs against the trend? Seems like it is a free-for-all atm.

Looks to me like the bear has awaken, at last.

If we break through 44700, and do not rally back up to close above that today, there should be blood on the streets.

I don't see any danger for the longs here..just more consolidation to go higher soon..!

 

Think this sideways/boring action going to continue into next week!

Ok, we have the NFP figures next Friday and usually signals a high (rally next week on the cards) of some sort and we have the FOMC meeting on the 16th June that if we look at history markets tend to start a new upleg from there!

 

So a 06th June high and a quick downleg (1200+) into the 13th? :rolleyes: Very possible....

 

Don't see us doing much until May concludes tomorrow!

If I understand the reports correctly, ECB news only next week. Today is USA (jobs data etc).

 

If you look at investing.com, they have a nifty calender with all important events noted by day.

 

Thanks, I have a report I follow. Just did not see anything regarding ECB policy.
