Thanks for posting this, very interesting. R10 is quite a valuation though. Sounds high, whats your opinion?

Reading Keith's rationale I can't really fault it..

Fact is, demand will drive growth for awhile

There margins have improved in the last set of results

Management seems good.

Yes the industry is cyclical but the segment they are operating in is probably less so.

Would love to hear some downsides from anyone that can point some out but I'm not seeing many myself

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

They have done very well, will double up as soon as I sold a kidney or something, liking this one a lot! Strange that it hasn't gone past the R6 yet? Gamma your opinion?

The reason for it not running up post results could be due to selling pressure from this

Decided to get some more Calgro, was really saving for some nice vacation time but just couldn't resist after the results they released and the share not doing much.. sticking it out as well!

Goliath, see that screener I posted in the string called Good Read. You will note CGR's position in that table..

I think that's a good move. If I had some free cash I would do the same.

Excellent results in tough times, if they keep this up..! Saw Esorfranki also released a not too bad trading statement, maybe construction in general starting to pick up..?

The only reason I see for it not running up more strongly is that the rest of the sector isn't doing that well and may be a drag. I'm sitting tight though, convinced the share price will explode upward at some point..hopefully soon

Right, so now we see Rev up over 50% which is unbelievable as their revenue is now the same as their market cap (according to bloomberg this morning which probably isnt updated)

Their profits are up 30%.

I don't know why it's not at R8 already, but i'm holding this bad boy for a while.

yes Goliath
As I said a few posts a ago, this trading statement is likely to be a turning point. a 30-50% increase in Heps is not to be sneezed at. Watch this baby rise over the next couple weeks.

Calgro has been on a steady decline for weeks. Any thoughts on where this is gonna go?

today, three months ago Calgro was trading at 511c. Now its 520c.

Steady decline?

Don't worry, earnings will be up significantly and the share price will jump soon...

Perfect time to buy then! Very Happy

They should bring out a trading update any day now as they will now know how many houses have been registered by Feb 28. Anxiously waiting for this ... should be good.
BTW: I do think the market is loosing interest in CGR thus the 'low' price.
