Agree...I am back to my old strategy now...much smaller exposures, getting in low...leaving room to top up and being patient for a month or two for it to pay off.

Totally....while the volatility is bliss for trading your comment above is what's needed in these times.

Capital preservation #1 rule ATM for me

couldn't have said it better myself..that kind of strategy pays BIG in a medium term(3+months) play with very little risk to capital.

yeah, i can empathize, its tough trading intraday-1 week time frames..depending on the instrument traded i set very wide margins in this type of volatility

..it looks great :D

Ha ha - this really grates my nutsack.

Anyway, long order in again...@ R76, if it breaks and holds resistance at 78?  I will add more and ride it up to 84.

I need a good trade to pay off...I am already down 20% for the year... Damn retailers...

*curses woolies* :P

Ridiculous...today it flies back up to touch 77 again. How does one set a reasonable stop in this volatility!???

I agree results are due on the 4th of March

And we would probably get a sens announcement a bit before that as well, if the results are as good as I expect them to be :)

I believe FSR will be worth the wait till the results are published... definitely see some upside.

Also quite tempted.  Imperial seems oversold.

Is it time to start shorting some gold stocks. SGL seems way overbought, or still too risky?

depends on the gold price.
