I agree with you on both counts. Oh what the hell, I'll take small short tomorrow.

good luck to us!

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

What do you think are the odds? It does look very enticing.

I would say the odd are more on the PIC scuppering the deal.. but its a bit of a gamble. still, think I will open a position tomorrow

Hi Guys and Girls,

I am interested in becoming more active in the share CFD's and would like to compile a short list of say 4 CFD's that have high beta's and are highly liquid to start getting a feel for. I use the IG platform. I have limited the capital available for short term / day trading in this area to R80k which implies a max loss at 3% of say R2.4k. I have no preference for being long or short.

Could you suggest a few (excluding Kumba, Sasol, CML and Naspers) CFD's for me to look at please?

Many Thanks!

Nice one, going to short them right away!!

Opened a short position too. If that legal action mentioned in the article actually materialises this one could be a goner given the pro consumer environment in SA.

I am not a reader of news papers. By sheer luck I came across this 'net article on Lewis this morning which puts a lot more perspective on the regulatory and legal risks facing Lewis. The level of disclosure contained in Lewis recent interims is really watered down in my opinion. After reading the article I decided to forego the divi in Jan and sold my long term holdings in Lewis.

Could be a short opportunity for those who are interested.

Is that all? +- 10% climb in a week because of that? Craz

it appears the world is running out of paper. And now with Yellen continuing the printing press, more paper is needed. Sappi is back in favour because of this.

Trading is one of the only fields where genuine con artists/scammers will urge you to “be careful of con artists/scammers.”

I'm eyeing a big short on Adcock. Its up close to the buyout price so not too much upside to be had and should PIC reject the offer then its gonna take a massive fall. Risk reward ratio looks very enticing.

What you guys think?
