Eqstra getting destroyed. Can't figure out why though. Asset managers buying, directors buying but it still goes down. Bought at R2.30. Feels like a falling piano though.

-12% at the moment in a single day. Is it unreasonable to expect a company announcement on this soon to ease shareholders?

No news yet, will there be further extension to the deadline???

no clue, would probably lose faith if there is as all signs point to a make or break on this deadline. But we've had two already so would not be too surprised. We've risen much higher this deadline as compared to the last few which shows that the market is expecting this to be the final one. We should get news tomorrow morning either way...

Got cash out and hoping that the news drops at 9 am and not at 8, that way I can catch a few lazy investors out if the deal does come through. :P

Will sell half at 450+ and will sell another quarter if somehow we get 500+. The other quarter I'll hold

took a third out at 430. Price on LSE seems to be turning south

TAS was a ten bagger in previous 5 years and will probably be a ten bagger in the next 5 as well, looking forward to Starbucks

How do you intend on handling this today?

Great SENS out for Taste Holdings this morning:

"The board of directors of Taste (“Board”) is pleased to announce that Taste
Food Franchising Proprietary Limited (“TFF”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Taste, has signed an exclusive development agreement to develop Starbucks
Coffee Company (“Starbucks”) outlets in South Africa."

With Domino's on board, and now Starbucks, the sky is the limit for Taste

Thanks for posting that Geko. Very informative. Now I know much more.

Any idea where these shows take place and whether I can join them?

You can join herehttp://www.justonelap.com/ and ask Simon. He is down to earth and very approachable.

Hi,

Have a look at this vid for Santova and Adi:

Focuses on these two from about half way in, but the whole thing is worth listening to . Talking his book but agree they are really good companies with still lots of potential upside. I have topped up on Adi (as expecting a trading update before the end of this month) and will do the same with Santova closer to next results.

Hi Everyone,

With the current volatility, whats is the consensus on current levels of:

Rhodes (RFG)

Santova (SNV)

AdaptIT (ADI)

Time to top-up or ride the roller coaster?

Lastly, Curro? From almost touching R40, the stock has pulled back. The old adage of the stratospheric PE not correlating to the performance and earnings is valid. However, the business model is such that revenue can increase easily above inflation, demand > supply once schools develop. In terms of expansion into Africa, long term, still think this stock has a considerable upside?
