Hi Soutie, I believe that an American option can be exercised at any time during the life of the option up to and including the expiry date as opposed to a European option that is only exercised at the expiry date.

I'm not too phased as options are the way you can retain good skills. My point is he only started officially on the 1st of July.

So before his 1st pay check he's been awarded all these options.

Could someone please explain what is an "american" option. Don't say extra large or supersize..... :D

Thanks in advance.

SENS out today informing us of the 1,000,000 options granted to the new CFO who only took the position officially 1st of this month. Must be good....Lets see :ph34r:

Options.... would prefer it being his own hard cash. They should take a tip from Mouton on how to boost your share price

Yeah its def a risk - trusting Allen Grey with this one though as they have a relatively large holding and increased it in May. Thanks for your opinion on it though will keep watch!

Building up a position for bluetel. Looks very cheap at the moment and volumes are increasing!

Remember that higher volumes with a falling share price just means that more people are selling.

Be careful not to try catch a falling knife.

I would wait for a clear turnaround. There's a reason it's fallen out of favour.

It's on my radar though. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm not happy with the direction WSL is going at the moment...

At least there's a dividend at the end of this week. Still retaining my long term holding...

Extract from SENS relating to the dividend:

The board has declared a final gross dividend of 3,8 cents per share in respect of the year ended 31 March
2014 payable to shareholders recorded in the register of the company at the close of business on the record
date appearing below. The dividend is payable from the company's cash reserves.

The salient dates applicable to the final dividend are as follows:
2014
Last day to trade shares cum dividend Friday, 25 July
Shares trade ex dividend Monday, 28 July
Record date Friday, 1 August
Payment date Monday, 4 August

No share certificates may be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 28 July 2014 and Friday, 1
August 2014, both dates inclusive.

In terms of the new Dividends Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information
is disclosed:
1. The local Dividend Tax rate is 15%;
2. The net local dividend amount is 3,23 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax
and 3,8 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax;
3. The issued ordinary share capital of Wescoal is 193 687 075 ordinary shares;

"OANDO ENERGY RESOURCES COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF MEDAL OIL

Quote
CALGARY, ALBERTA ? Oando Energy Resources Inc. (?Oando Energy Resources? or
the ?Company?) (TSX: OER), a company focused on oil and gas exploration and
production in Nigeria, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of
Medal Oil Company Limited (?Medal Oil?). The purchase price of US$5,000,000
was satisfied by the issuance of 3,491,082 units, each unit consisting of one
common share of the Company and one-half of one warrant to purchase an
additional common share at a price of C$ 2.00 per common share for a period of
24 months
from the date on which the Company closes the acquisition of the
Nigerian upstream oil and gas business of ConocoPhillips the (?CoP Acquisition?).
Medal Oil holds a 5% interest in OML 131. Upon completion of the CoP
Acquisition, OER will own a 100% interest in OML 131."

- SENS this morning

SO they would have to exercise the warrants at almost R20 per share. Rather steep unless the company believes they are worth R20 a share...

It will consolidate in the 1150 - 1300c range over the next week (closing each day at the higher end of the daily range) and then most likely break-through 1300c by next Friday

Cancel what I said about consolidation, may break through 1300c today!

I said it at 9:48 AM when the price was 5% lower... It will close at 1290c or so.
Been trading (currently just watching due to lack of cash) this share for the past month. Rapidly running out of seller, price is just on a continuous uptrend

almost a 9% move already, exactly as predicted. Kicking myself for throwing out the bird in the hand (MMG) for two in the bush (SOH + RSG) :angry:

How's it looking over the next few days?
