you said you were tempted to short but waiting on signal..a post later you stated that it was magic hay...have you then identified where your analysis failed?
The question is:
How do u identify a false breakout of the CCI ?

my analysis has not failed....The upward move is still being driven by that fact and not by buy/sell!!

What kills me is the fact that when the 3 & 10 & CCI crosses at the same time, the candle is already low (maybe 25 points) now add to that the margin and you are already 35-45 points down from where the cross happened. If it is a good signal you will make points, but when it is a false signal, which at this point you do not know, you can easily be in a losing trade very quickly.
By eliminating the false signals, you will make less trades, but with smaller risk.
I have tested a bit now with only the 34 & 204 m/a and CCI, but are not convinced yet. Still feels the 3 & 10 gives a bit of security.

I went long 44800 according to signal and dumped at 44855. Go CCI go. And thanks again HDB for sharing this and all your knowledge with us.
