Iam actually tempted to short at these levels,,,,but that is against system rules!! So will wait for signal!!

the fact that cci got from zero to 100 with hardly any p[rice movement , maybe 40points at best says not trade we really want!!

 

and I see it in another chart why we going up too...

Not entirely, I think. If the lines have crossed, CCI crosses 0 but the 34ema is tight, I don't make the trade.

I know HDB is not at his computer now, but do I understand correctly; Has he ditched the 3 & 10 day m/a, only to work with CCI & 34 & 204 m/a

Sorry guys I forgot to say ihave cleaned out the 3 and 10day smas from my chart...That 3 day 10 day cut was a waste I think!!

 

Simpler, clearer and cleaner chart to use I think!!

Sorry if I am a bit behind in class..., how do you set your pivots in IG? And do you also use the pivots on the 5min chart?

just use the pp in the technical analysis tab on the charts. leave the default settings

I would say that if the EMA 34 is sloping done wait for the SMA3 to cross the EMA34 before going long…?

 

If you look at the long of 3 min. ago, it would have worked  but you would have lost out on a lot of points before the 3 ma actually cut the 34 ma

All indexes are recovering.   Resources 10 now only 451 down.  Top 40 35 down.  Should have taken the signal but was a bit sceptic.

was a genuine signal...This is the point im trying to make here...

 

but for me its a quick profit trade as im still bearish for rest of day!!
